Very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Lovely food and possibly the BEST cheesecake I've ever had! Lovely traditional country pub which is dog friendly!

Five of us all enjoyed our various meals in a warm and welcoming Inn. Its only a short drive out from Keswick and well worth the trip. Nice beer as well....

Just been tonight had a wonderful chicken tikka masala. Monday curry night. Great service atmosphere and excellent value. Also had the mango cheesecake yummy. This was recommended by our B&B very handy just a mile away. Booking recommended we had the last table available.

Not the prettiest location in the Lakes but once you are inside who would know. The food is good the staff friendly and the cost is reasonable.... We went twice on a 3 day break and enjoyed the experience both times.

I haven't been there on New Year's Eve so I'm not aware. They are a pub so there's a good chance they're open late.
Hello are the opening hours shown up to date? we are staying in the village at the beginning of September and was surprised to see that you don't open on lunchtimes except on a Sunday.
