I honestly don't have any idea why people give this place a good review. Please save your money. We went there Sunday evening for my father's birthday dinner and to celebrate the end of our vacation. I had read many reviews and we finally landed on this one, although overall I was not impressed with the food in Puerto Rico.... More

Traveling from Texas for our honeymoon, my husband actually found the restaurant and it was sooooo good! I had the shrimp mofongo and he had the Pechuga Borincana (recommended by our helpful server.) The shrimp was very flavorful and I kept stealing the rice from his plate. If you order something that comes with rice we recommend the arroz mamposteado.... More

We came because I wanted my husband and children to taste good Puerto Rican cuisine. We were not disappointed. The pork and rice was amazing.

Nice, quaint restaurant. Good food and service. It was the perfect lunch break after ziplining and before hiking in El Yunque.

Found this restaurant by way of a Gustazos.com online deal and could not be happier. The ambiance is clean and cozy. Not a big place but big enough. The food was excellent, the Sangria really great tasting and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The pricing is really good and we were there on a Thursday night and they had... More

We ate at this restaurant 3 times during the month we vacationed in Rio Grande. Each time the service was good and the food was yummy. The burrito is huge, so it could be shared. The steak chimichanga was also very good. They are also generous with chips and salsa.

Today after a round of golf at Rio Mar, we visited for lunch. Ample parking in front and back. Excellent female servers continually trying to please. Ample wine selection, flavor full cuisine. Try the mofongo with fish.

Description
Authentic Puerto Rican & Cuban Food. Many people write about it in their reviews of the Rio Mar in Rio Grande, PR. I would love to write a review about this place as it was the best Mofungo (fried mashed plantains) we had in PR (and we tried it in 4 restaurants).
