Like the days when I first visited Grand Cayman, Heritage Kitchen is authentic island simplicity at its best. Fish is fresh, deliciously prepared and served in low key picnic tables from a quaint blue shack. Great value, no fuss and not mass produced. Just what I look for on the island. Go and enjoy!

It is a hidden outdoor kitchen on the water in West Bay. We always look forward to visiting and enjoying their Cayman Style fish, or fresh coconut or pineapple grouper or mahi mahi. Not so crazy about the wahoo, but everything is caught locally and served fresh. The portions are large and served with rice, and the price reasonable. Good... More

Came to Heritage Kitchen after it was recommended by a local. We came to try the conch, but at the time we stopped by, they only had snapper and grouper. We were not let down however -- the coconut grouper and Cayman-style snapper were unbelievable! A seafood afficionado myself, this was quite possibly one of the best fish selections I... More

The Heritage Kitchen restaurant is not fancy -- you order at counter and eat at picnic tables -- but it's food was great, as was the view. Prices were exceptionally low for Grand Cayman making it a true value! We will dine there again.

I had the grouper there and it was one of the best fish I had on the island. It's the classic shack on the beach with great food. I'd highly recommend this reasonable alternative to the expensive dining on the island with a great view and relaxed atmosphere slightly off the beaten path.

We visited Heritage Kitchen on a rain afternoon. It was worth the wait in the rain. On the menu that day was only grouper and wahoo. Everyone in our group chose the grouper, but we all selected different sauces (coconut, curry, cayman style and pan-friend). The favourites were the coconut and curry. Would like to come again when they have... More

A local from the island told us about Heritage Kitchen and we ended up eating there for our entire stay in the Grand Cayman. The food is just that good! The fish was amazing and the jerk chicken was incredible for BBQ Night. It also helps that the chef, Ronaldo is extremely kind and he has a great team helping... More

Friday special was Jerk Ribs, a must have! Best hidden gem on the west side. Local spot by the beach. Small but cozy and near the water.

Best restaurant on West Bay. This is local cuisine, not a hamburger joint (after all, you can get that in the US and your in the Caribbean so live a little and try it) Order food, go have a seat near the water and enjoy a drink and local music; no stress here! This is cash only (most local fair... More
