this is not your typical tourist stop, but not to be missed for a relaxing lunch. if you have a car, drive up to west bay and have lunch. Best fish, especially if you like it spicey.

Red snapper came out "charcoaled" and looked days old. I sent it back and switched to the grouper. It was great. Tasted my wives maui and it was even better. No alcohol but you can take a cooler in and take wine as well. Great...More

Stopped here on our bike trip. Delicious cayman style fish lunch platter. Was more like a dinner portion. Came with rice, coleslaw, fried plantains. Easily could have shared with a sister. Cash only. Lots of outdoor covered picnic tables.

We loved the restaurant! BYOB was a fantastic option and enjoyed sitting outside looking out to the ocean! The fish was very good and I would recommend the Mahi Mahi. The Grouper was great too and a great find.

Heritage Kitchen was a great lunch stop with delicious food, large portions and ample shaded outdoor seating. Our food was made when we ordered it and everything was fresh.

This place didn’t live up to the reviews I’ve seen. It isn’t a place where locals eat and the prices reflect this. This food was decent but not a 5 rating. It is by the water which is nice. No alcohol is sold here so...More

This is a place that tourists like to call authentic. Locally owned and run, it serves mostly local fish. You order at the window, choose a picnic table, and the nice window guy brings your food to you. You get the fish, two piles of...More

If you drove by this place, you would not guess that it has such good food. It is literally a small hut with some picnic tables beside it, overlooking the water (although there is a road between you and the water). The food is local,...More

This is a charming little spot with a walk-up counter and outdoor tables. It is on the water, sort of - you can see the ocean, but it is above the water and across a road. Very limited menu, but it is good to stick...More

We stopped here for lunch last week while on a bike tour. We all had the grouper CAYMAN style( pan seared w/ sauteed onions and tomatoes on top), a huge serving of rice, some coleslaw and fried plantains. It was a large plate of food...More

I don't believe they do. You eat out on picnic tables after you order your food. It is very local cuisine and style.

Local Cayman food at it's very best. Recommended by all who have eaten there. Written up as the place to go to in the Cayman Islands by the New York Times.Heritage Kitchen lies snuggled next to Boggy Sands Road in West Bay, serving some of the best local food.Fresh fish fry, fritters and fish tea are some of the most popular dishes.Diners eat at wooden tables outside the tiny restaurant or can sit on the sea wall a few feet away and watch the waves. The restaurant is behind the Heritage shopping centre at the four-way stop.Open Wed/Thu until 8pm,Fri/Sat until 10 pm and Sunday until 8 pm which is our Barbeque Day!
