Satu beach club is insane! It's unbelievable how Henrique and Lorena (the owners) manage to keep that place so beautifully kept in such an inhospitable place. The beach club is located at the Satu beach (now you get the name 😋) which is a gem...located 4km away from Caraiva by walking along the coast towards north. The idea is trying to get there when it's low tide so you can get mind blown by the amazing corals that lie just in front of the beach club. It's like visiting Praia do Espelho in Trancoso, but waaay prettier! The major reasons are that you don't have as close as many people because of the hard access, you have three gorgeous lagoons (in one of them you can even do your own clay therapy with white clay 😎) and the personalised service you get at the beach club. As soon as you arrive at the beach club Henrique will tell you everything you need to know about the beach, the lagoons and also the hard work that is to keep the business running (which is why they charge a plausible minimum fee of R$150,00 per table). They climb over 100 steps every day to get to the car at the top of the "falésias", drive to the nearest village, buy their groceries, come back to the parking spot, climb down the same steps and finally get to open the club. It doesn't end there though. They still have to walk up and down during the day because the kitchen is located half way to the top. I'm describing in such details because it's truly incredible what they accomplished there. Also, they have solar panels (there is no other source of electric power) and a wastewater treatment system. It's as environmental friendly as it can get. Still, you get to enjoy a beautiful beach while stretching yourself over a very comfortable cushioned seat. You have to see to believe. So, when in Caraiva, don't even think twice, go there and have the best time!More
