Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We nipped in for lunch after a morning bus ride up from the coast. Very friendly staff, fast service and wonderfully wholesome soup. And incredibly cheap!

Right on the main plaza you will rub elbows with the locals eating here. The fare is very basic. Pisco Sour served in tumblers and tasted very weak, although the effort was there. We had the menu, 1 set of pork chops, 1 meat with...tomatoes and onions. Both served with fried potatoes and rice.More

Four days in putre and in the last day the Canta verdi restaurant was closed... Then we decide went to La Flor de Rosamel (second time in my life) and definitely I have to give a poor calcification for the slow service, raw fries patatoes...and onions in the Lomo Saltado dish. Additionally, the drinks are too expansive in comparation with other local restaurants. We went at this restaurant in december 2017 and our alpaca beef was very hard and all dishes were completely covered by onions. I recommend you definitely canta verdi restaurant... Avoid this place!!!!More

The room was full of chilenian people and so we decided to join them and we got not disappointed. Everybody had a cazuela as starter followed by spaghetti with vegetables. We did it exactly this way and enjoyed a very very good meal! The place...is simple but cosy and absolutely to recommend.More

We were sightseeing between Arica and Lago Chungra. Our guide recommended this place for lunch and my wife and I were very happy with both the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. We ate the traditional salads for first course and a meat and potato...dish for the second course. The portions are generous. Putre is a small country town in the highlands and the restaurant seems more for locals than tourists. No English was spoken but our guide helped us through the food selection. A drink of their herbal tea is essential to assist with aclimatizing to the altitudes above 2000 meters. Lake Chungara is above 4000 metersMore
