Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We tried to eat here for 3 nights mid-November, but it was never open, and indeed looked as if it hadn't been open for some time.

We came early because once this place fills up, the service is incredibly slow (only 2 servers)! Having said that the vegetable crepe with cream sauce was fabulous, we shared one and ordered another to share. The pizza was great. I’m a cheese lover and...enjoyed the generous cheese as did my colleagues, crust is slightly crispy on the edges. We shared a pisco sour(5000CLP for 1/2 l). A mixed salad appetizer was good but the condiments didn’t contain balsamic but only the basic white vinegar. Prices are on par with North American diners and given the out of the way location of Putre, I’m sure shipping costs are quite high.More

We are vegetarian and always have limited options- so we were excited to see you can create your own pizza by choosing three ingredients which are then covered in cheese. There were many other non-pizza options too for meat eaters. We got a vegetarian pizza,...a jug of sour, and a house salad. The food was well-priced and delicious! Thank you!!More

We went for dinner at Cafe Putre. The restaurant was full, and yet there was only one waitress. We ordered alpaca meat with rice and salad, it took 40 minutes to arrive. Same waiting time for all the other clients. The restaurant offers a choice...of pizzas ($4500 for a small one to $10500 for a familial size), main plates, crepes and sandwiches. Overall, we found it very expensive for the content. The alpaca meat was tough and the salad was very basic. We haven't tried the other dishes so we can't judge.More

We ate at this cafe twice. A very good choice in a town without a lot of good choices. Lunch was excellent, a delicious two course meal with tea for only 3000 pesos. We also ate sandwiches and pizza for dinner, which were also tasty,...but service was slow as the restaurant was very busy. We didn't eat all our pizza and took some to go (for breakfast) but, oddly, the largest slice disappeared when it went back into the kitchen to be packaged. So count your pizza before you leave?More
