What an iconic view; just like in the movies! Unfortunately, we had a bad storm coming in that day, so it was fairly cloudy (although made for atmospheric photos!), but you can just stand and take it all in for ages; truly is something special to behold.
We stumbled upon this by chance and my word, what a magnificent building. It is free to enter (so obviously, a must!) and there is so much history and architecture in this stunning structure, you will need all day! It's a lovely, calming pace from the hustle & bustle outside too.
"Spectacular, memorable visit. Museum display exceptional"

The view, memorable as expected. This skyscraper and views over NYC has featured in so many documentaries, films and photos, there were no real surprises, however still fantastic. The museum and displays were the 'icing on the cake', fascinating construction details, documents with details of building specifications and materials, images of the apparent fearless workers in stills shots and moving...
Herald Square is much smaller than the song would have you believe. The public tables and chairs are a nice touch in the summer, and you can relax outside before enjoying the air conditioning in Macys!
TIP: The Macy's basement has food and bathrooms that are not usually as crowded.
I happened upon this shop while looking for stationary supplies. Great location across from Bryant Park. Extensive shop downstairs includes beautiful Japanese crafted gifts, as well as a good assortment of pens, and papers for crafting, journaling or calligraphy. A fun place to explore!
We went here for tea at 5 pm on a wednesday.
We got the last table in the bar - hadnt book - and the next people were going to have to wait 45 minutes.
The food was excellent but huge portions - I opted for a smaller dish but it was still very big.
The staff is very pleasant...
Gorgeously appointed rooms, immaculate hotel, and truly caring staff that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Miguel and Scott, thanks for taking care of our reservation change of the wonderful upgrade to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We will return for sure.
Right when we arrived Luma was fantastic! The customer service of this hotel is phenomenal. The rooms were excellent, very clean and the house keepers went above and beyond each day to clean up our rooms. I have no negative things to say about this hotel. If I were you, I would definitely stay here! We will be staying here...
Enjoyed my recent stay at the Archer. Its was a perfect location for all the places we wanted to visit - close to the trains, easy to catch Uber and walkable to many areas. The room is small but probably standard size for NYC, it was efficiently laid out with clean and modern furnishings. There is storage under the bed...
We booked the Park Terrace for both its location and excellent reviews and it did not disappoint. We arrived just as NY restaurants and bars closing due to coronavirus. The staff were amazing, particularly Craig. They made sure we were well fed and extended they're breakfast for most of the day. Our check out was extended at no extra cost....
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Beautiful suite (room 1003)
Lovely staff from the front desk through to housekeeping.
Normally I don’t spend much time in the hotel and prefer to see the city but as the room and service was so good I enjoyed relaxing in the room immensely. This is now my favourite NYC hotel....
