If you have an hour to spend take a look at this exhibit at the NYPL Performing Arts library. Everything is there, from a replica of Hal Prince's office (door and all), to letters, photos, telegrams, ledgers, posters, not to mention set and costume designs from many of the shows he produced. Fiddler, West Side Story, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd...it's all...
We have dined at several of Thomas Keller's restaurants. We tried the French Laundry when they were still under re-construction but over-all, I think I liked Per Se much better than French Laundry. It was a wonderful dining experience. The truffle kept flowing and flowing on the mac and cheese...just amazing...and the staff there was pleasant to have conversations with...
We had heard good things about this restaurant and decided to give it a whirl....the wait staff...friendly and efficient..perfect for what you are looking for if you want to make your play or opera...The food was creative and artistically presented...the dessert was the most delicious one i've EVER had!..delightful...if you get the chance to dine here...DO
I came for lunch with my husband in the dining room. The setting was beautiful, and the service faultless.
The 'four' menu was perfect and very good value - although this is a 5 star review I would advise diners to check with the servers which items come with a supplement - it wasn't very clear that both caviar dishes...
This place was exceptional, from the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff made you feel special. The hotel was clean and the room was superb with lots of little touches which you don’t normally see in other hotels. We went for the room with the kitchen which gave a homely experience to our trip. The staff were not...
Wa hed a very good stay in this hotel. The location is perfect, just in front central park. The breakfast in room was very very good, large choice of everything. The indoor pool is great, 20 meters long, and the gym had everything needed.
The room was lovely and very nice view.
Located on the upper west side near all musicals halls.
2 blocks from central park.
Waking distance to 5th avenue major shopping stores.
Ample rooms - suites with kitchen, dinning and living room.
24/7 staff; plenty of coffee places nearby.
The location of this hotel is great! We went for a run every morning in central park and it was only a couple of mins to get to. We walked pretty much everywhere from the hotel.
Our room was cosy, but that's totally to be expected in NYC, it was clean and everything functioned fine. A perfect base to explore...
"Unbeatable location in Manhattan, 1 blk from Central Park"

I would definitely stay here again...especially if I can get the COVID-19 scare discount price again. Surprisingly quiet--then again, everyone was hunkered down at home because of the pandemic. The location is unbeatable. You are one block from Central Park. You have countless bars and restaurants etc all within a short walk. This was a really good find for me!
