Central Park is a good and impressive park, and worth going to if you are visiting or studying or living in NYC. At some points I felt like I was outside a big city and it had a nice feel. If you want to get out of the city, do come here to get away. Plenty of sights to see...
In my opinion, this is one of the two most interesting museums in New York, only because of the gigantic and wonderful collection, but also because of the architecture and general structure of this place!
It's funny that we've been to Central Park many times and we never noticed this little garden. The Conservatory Garden is so pretty and is a perfect place for having a break. We visited back in November and the colors were very nice. For more pictures, visit my Instagram (IG: kelledstyle) :-)
Just before going back towards the concrete jungle, we quickly headed to Bethesda fountain, where we hoped we would find a toilet.
The toilet was closed, but we enjoyed checking out the beautiful fountain and in particular the lovely tiles on the ceiling under the terrace. Just look at the fountain, turn around and walk towards the stairs while looking...
"A picturesque statue in a stunning park location"
reviewed 9 February 2020 by lucylucy706
The Alice in Wonderland statue is a charming place to visit when in New York, particularly in the snow. We visited on the Monday after Thanksgiving 2019 when it had just started to snow, and the park was delightfully peaceful with very few people around. It was my first visit to Central Park, but I imagine there are usually a...
and hard to find fault with the service, and while some dishes were outstanding, I would have expected every dish to shine, and they did not.
I would not hesitate to recommend this venue for a special occasion as the service was truly 5 star, and I was impressed with a special dessert brought for me as it was my...
Saturday Brunch was well presented and extremely good value.
It's has an airy, contemporary, sophisticated feel that looks out to the Park corner.
Pancakes for me, Eggs Benedict for the wife, and 2x alcohol-free cocktails. $67 + tip ($80) is excellent for the location and service.
Waiter was polite and professional. All staff were friendly.

"Very nice lunch"

We went to the gallery to see "Woman in Gold" and decided to eat lunch at the cafe. There was quite a line, so we went to the smaller cafe downstairs which serves the same food and was just fine. Small portions, not inexpensive, but very good. The cucumber lemonade was refreshing, and my crepe was delicious. My husband had...
We stumbled across the Tavern On The Green by chance and made it a regular drinking spot throughout our stay in NYC. We always had a nice spot in the beer garden with a view of Central Park. The bar in the garden had a relaxed atmosphere with music playing. The bar staff were friendly. It was a nice spot...
