Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
Churches & Cathedrals, Points of Interest & Landmarks

Put this on your list for a visit, I was here for the Saturday vigil. Unfortunately the church is being renovated so the basement chapel is what is being used until early spring. The building it self is very impressive in size and beauty. I can’t wait to come back and see the completed project.

"Right there in Copley Square."

Yes, it is right there in Copley Square. Since you are there it is another thing you might as well check out. Actually it is nice coming across these small statures as you are sightseeing in the area. Since the marathon is there, I guess makes sense having a tortoise and a hare there too.
"This is a commercial space - you can take in the display under 15 minutes"

If not out of your way, and interesting stop amidst other galleries. Not a destination. That said, the proprietors are very interesting to talk to and will share quite a bit of knowledge about the material. They instantly knew most of the historic posters I referenced, ahd sold several and had others of interest inthe collection - easily searchable with...
When in Boston head to this fantastic diner which offers great food great atmosphere and a reflection of the area before gentrification hit this area
Breakfast is huge with pancakes my favourite unlimited coffee and great service
Ok, not much to say that hasn't been said... everything ous delicious. And we pretty much tried EVERYTHING. the sticky buns are incredible. Get lots of butter and all them to warm it. Oh my goodness, heaven.
The banana bread is the best we ever had. Sri moist and rich with fresh banana taste.
Try the homemade Oreo. Very rich...
The pizza and ice cream are very good but what sets this place apart is:
1. The Caesar salad is the BEST I have ever had. Their dressing must be homemade, and the dressing you hope for every time you order a Caesar. Ditto the croutons. Lettuce is cold and fresh, anchovies are real, and the whole combo is PHENOMENAL....
Fantastic! Service and vibe were great. Definitely have the fois gras, paella, garlic shrimp. Open since 2005, and I'm embarrassed to say that this was my first visit in 2020. Going to have to make up for lost time!
We went early (5 pm on a Tuesday) and easily got seated. Started with the lime and ginger soda (yum!) and washed our hands in the tiny bathroom after a day of site seeing. We were especially enamored by the celery caesar salad with a good amount of anchovy in the dressing - the extra crunch was a nice change...
Super great concept that hits every note just right. Wonderful. Super clean. Super comfortable beds and bathrooms are immaculate with full privacy. Love the concept and vibe. The staff very professional. And pet friendly. We thank you for a great stay...
Nice, modern hotel. Breakfast buffet was exceptional - far better than expected. Excellent food served in the bar late night also. All staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was expensive $50 overnight - but this is Boston after all. Best part - no carpets in the rooms which is so much healthier and cleaner in my opinion.
Clean and comfortable, loved the extra special touches and decor. Great toiletries and well stocked Keurig coffee maker. Very small room and bathroom. Limited space for personal belongings, but other than that, it was really lovely! I would definitely stay again.
