OMG! Back in the day when my office was across the street, we often went to the basement bar/restaurant for drinks or lunch. Then the cooking school took it over and we came for gourmet lunches. Not sure what happens now. It's an historic spot, also important in gay history.
Located near Courthouse & Hastings College of Law.
They serve Russian River Brewery: Pliny the Elder ($7 pint, during Happy hour, otherwise $8). Need I say more.
Love the name and history of Emperor Norton. Friendly spot, wasn't crowded either. Happy Hour starts at noon. Works for me. Will be downing a few pints here each future visit to Frisco....
A new place to discover in San Francisco. They serve wonderfull cocktails and some good beers. The thing I don't get is that there's only one restroom (man/woman) for the whole place. In a new business I would definitely don't do that.
Loved it! We were fortunate that it was rainy and early so we got in easily, but the line afterwards seemed to move pretty quick.
Beignets were sooo good, even the next day. Everything we ordered was great and we were hella full after.
Would definitely go again.
Best Take out Vietnamese sandwiches on Larkin St in tenderloin area of downtown SF. Very seedy area with street people, but well worth the trip. I like the grilled pork and grilled chicken. Will try the meatball sandwich next time. When it’s your turn, shout out the Order, and mine were ready in less than 5 minutes.
Don’t go here...
I think this is the most popular Thai Restaurant in SF, went there on 2 Jan and it was not very crowed. As a Thai living in United States, this restaurant offers various types of Thai food, and some dishes are not easy to find in USA, would recommend to come here and try new Thai dishes you have never...

I went there with my family of 5 people for a quick late dinner, and we were amazed by the top quality of food, large portions, perfect service, and reasonable price. The pork chops were great and cooked to perfection, indeed the entire dinner was excellent. Very good beers!!
this place is not easy to find and not in a good neighborhood, but the food was definitely worth it. Our party of 5 ordered and shared a a number of appetizers and entrees. Everything was delicious. They have a small wine list. The ambiance is quaint and the vibes were energetic. Staff was very helpful in helping us with decisions...
This is my nest-away-from-home for SF work trips. The rooms are great, the staff is both cool and super friendly, and the huge plants in the pool courtyard make me happy. Plus it's walking distance from Japantown, which is fun for food and spa time. Will continue to stay whenever I'm in town.
We have just come back from staying here and visiting San Francisco. Hotel is perfect, comfy beds friendly staff and good location.
There are LOADS of homeless around in tents, smelling of either wee or weed! They do however leave you alone. Breakfast was good!
Unfortunately while I was there I had my mobile phone snatched outside the Uber headquarters while...
We experience a lot of noise from the street, I couldn't sleep normally. Also the piece of soap in the bathroom was as if bitten on the edge. We thought it might be mice.... But the staff on the front desk was helpful and friendly.
Nicely decorated room. The beds were really comfortable and the room had everything you need. Good hot, shower. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Centrally located, a lot within walking distance, very good dining options nearby.
The hotel was accessible and on arrival we were able to locate quickly, the chap at reception was very attentive...
