This compact park across the way from Grace Cathedral is one of Nob Hill's treasures. It certainly packs a lot into a city block. Intensely green turf, paved walkways, places to sit, a fountain, artsy statuary, even a playground for the kids. I hate that our guide had to hustle us through the park during a gentle rain. I'd like to...
I saw the photographs of the rock stars from the 60's, including an upstairs pass to the orginal Abby Road photographs and more recent "pop" and political icons. The gallery staff were pleasant and low key with no pressure to buy. We were allowed to simply enjoy the display. They said they frequently handle this type of material.
This was my first time at The Regency and loved it. The venue itself was beautiful! The sound was also really good. We sat up in the balcony and we could see everything that was going on. Definitely one of my top venues for a show!
Big shows are held here and we have been to a few. Access is an issue as the climb up the hill is hard on foot and public transit is sketchy. You can park in the Masonic Garage, but there is always a slow line leaving to pay and get out. No good solutions.
Staff were friendly, service was great, and food was out in minutes. Absolutely delicious. Compared to burritos we get in Australia and the few others we have had here in the states, this was easily the best.
I was looking forward to dining at Liho-Liho for a long time due to its popularity. We finally booked a table and while the food was really good, it wasn’t amazing in my opinion. Also service wasn’t great. I feel like the waiters were not very friendly and didn’t give us much attention. For some reason, also, I got VERY...
Going out to dinner with family is always challenging. So many of us like different things it’s hard to find one restaurant. But we did Fino. From the start from being seated to the meal to dessert it was all amazing with great service. We had salmon w pesto risotto
Lemon chicken piccata
Three cheese ravioli
Lemon veal piccata
Fabulous burgers, Cobb salad, fries and onion rings.
Burgers are a decent size, generous fresh ingredients and really tasty.
Fries and onion rings have a beautiful coating that adds to the flavour and crunch.
Cobb salad was huge and no problems to swap out blue cheese for cheddar,
Service was fast, efficient and super friendly.
Small dining area but pretty...
What an incredible stay we had at this super quaint Inn. To begin with, it is a perfect location. Close to pretty much all the sights.
The Inn itself has a lovely old feel that meets 60's and 70's, even down to the typical old lift you would expect to find in one of these old San Francisco houses.
My dad (73) and his wife really enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. From him: Really comfortable room, great view, very clean. Staff very nice, James (valet) and Glenn (bell) were really fun guys to talk with. Big 4 ambiance special old world richness; food was high level also. Walking access to everything around Nob Hill. Pretty damn nice.
I stayed here with a good friend while we visited San Francisco - an overnight trip. They have a beautiful lobby and the rooms are quaint and accommodating. The bar and restaurant at the rooftop is worth the price of meals and drinks, if you become a member select happy hour drinks are free. This hotel is conveniently located near...
We had a great time at the Pineapple Hotel. The bed was fantastic and the shower was big. The front desk staff was friendly and we had a great time at the BAR!!! The housekeeping staff was great. New sheets and towels each day.
This is definitely my favored Hotel in San Francisco. I am getting here the fifth year in a row. The hotel gives me the nice feeling of good old San Francisco. You can reach most places by foot or by the city railroad on Market Street. Definitely a place for want to enjoy the town.
