Don’t expect to see a copy of NYC highline. This trail is mainly designed for bikers and runners.
It is a nice path but you have walk in duck row to avoid being hit by a biker.
Few more years will be needed to get more vegetation
Located in Wicker Park and Bucktown's arty community, this place holds a myriad of different items from paintings, photography, glass art, lamps, wearable art like jewelry, makeup, clothing, hats. They have hand made items, some recycled items; there's local Chicago wares as well as fair-traded stuff from Asia and India; they also have out-of-state vendors--but all work is unique. I...
It is worth looking for a parking place to enjoy this unique theater. (Spot Hero is very helpful)
We were very surprised by the very comfortable bar and spacious , wide open lounge in the lobby with inviting tables and chairs. The polished wooden floor with beautiful area rugs made the space very welcoming. When we return, we will arrive...
I took a tour for Master Gardeners in August 2014. The garden has changed only slightly from pictures posted on blogs over the years. It is very inspirational - a great showcase of what one can do in a low light, urban setting. Albeit this is three city lots - one doesn't need to be that ambitious.

We came here yesterday (2/2) for brunch after having a really bad experience and another brunch place. The wait was reasonable, about 15-20 minutes for a party of four and our food was great. I would definitely go back!

Took my family out to dinner at Mindy's on a cold winter night last week and we all loved it. As it was our first time here, we tried a few different things on the menu, starting with the cheddar biscuits. YUM! For dinner, I had the mussels, which were as good as mussels I have had on the east...
Stan's is a classic Chicago stop, and the store is very cute. The staff was friendly and patient while we looked over all the donut options, which were really fun. We ended up getting the chocolate frosted cake donut and they were absolutely delicious! The cake donut was really moist despite it being mid-afternoon. Would recommend to anyone who wants...
We found this place recommended online and decided to try it out. It was delicious and the atmosphere was cool. We shared the carne asada taco and the dish with chihuahua cheese, poblano peppers and chorizo, whose name escapes me. It was served with fresh tortillas that were so good. Definitely worth checking out!
A true gem. Renovation, reuse, and repurposing of old buildings is our business in Kalamazoo so it was so cool to see a really great retrofit of an old building repurposed into a very creative, well designed, charming hotel.
