The Shedd is a really great aquarium with extensive exhibits covering aquatic habitats of the whole world, from local species of the Great Lakes to the Amazon, Africa and SE Asia. Large tanks populated by otters, dolphins and belugas are a highlight. The only downside is the cost, which is very high. Probably justified to some extent, as it must...
I have been here before for meetings and had more meetings recently. The place is huge, with meeting rooms of all sizes. Staff is very friendly I can point you to what part of the convention center you are going to. There are several fast food type restaurants inside with a couple coffee shops too. Prices are expensive, which is...

"Wow, what an Exhibition - Worth the trip to Chicago"

For any fan of the musical or American history, such a well done presentation of the material. It brought the story to life in unique ways. It was better than expected, anxious to see where it goes next.
While taking a walk along the lake shore, I came across this little kiosk and decided to try a Chicago style hot dog. My trips to Chicago usually include a trip to Portillo’s, but I have to say this hotdog was every bit as good. Thanks
We had breakfast here on a recent trip to Chicago. The coffee cake is great and of course we took one home. The breakfast menu is varied and the service is quick. Food is made fresh and it is hot and worth the price.
As cafeterias go, Galileo’s isn’t bad, but it isn’t very good, either. I had a Supernova pizza that was adequate. The espresso was pretty good. This is a feeding station with a spectacular view over the lake and of the Chicago skyline. And: it’s the only eatery in the Planetarium.
