Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
The city authorities really mauntain this park well, the trees, plants and patyhways, all. Well worth a visit on a sunny day, with a good book to read, or in good company to talk. Suggest several visits when the temperarure is above 22ºC. Go friends!
"The wealth of an earlier generation is most tastefully displayed"

I expected a display of late 20th century domestic art.
I was delightfully surprised to find a 19th century household's wealth displayed.
The old gatehouse is now a cafe and a welcome break in the day.
Well worth a visit.
First this is not a traditional restaurant but an experience when you learn quite a lot, being on local culture, food and wine and you get to close empanadas, make maté, and alfajeros. We liked our evening here, the dinner was gorgeous, as usual too much food, excellent wines.
Only drawback, the room were we had dinner was very noisy...
I consider Dario Gaultieri Bistro a potential Michelin starred restaurant. The 10 course pairing of Argentinian wines and regional foods was exquisitely presented in a delightful atmosphere. The service was impecable. Even the choice of music was thoughtful and appropriate.
Very reasonably priced for a restaurant of this quality. We are glad that we had the opportunity to spend an...

"Delicious start to our Argentinian Adventure!!"

We had dinner at Casa Coupage our first night in BA. This wonderful meal was served at Santiango's home and will always be a very memorable experience for us. Santiago is so passionate not only about the food he servers, but also the wine he pours. He gave us a wonderful insight into some of the wines we would experience...
I stumbled upon this cute smoothie cafe because it is painted in bright colors and located in the heart of Palermo. The owners nicely decorated it with tons and tons of fresh fruit which makes it such a cozy place. The smoothies are delicious and there’s a very large menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I absolutely love...
First, nice location, good amenities around, and close metro station.
But what makes this hotel stand out is how wonderful the people at the reception and restaurant are. During my stay (11days), they were always smiling, always there to help, they make you really feel special.
My absolute favourite is Ana, I felt as if she was a big sister...
Cozy oasis away from the bustle - in the cutest neighborhood. The front desk was phenomenal.
Clean rooms. Great lounge and pool area. Breakfast fresh and light. Artsy decor and retro furniture. Sweet vibe.
Delicious vegetarian options in walking distance.
This boutique-style hotel in the hip Palermo Soho neighborhood was a fantastic find for our first trip to Buenos Aires. My husband and I stayed 4 nights (Sept 2016) and were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful our stay was here. The hotel has only about 8 or so rooms, each accessible by a very old-fashioned key that you leave...
I'm not sure if I can add more compliments than have already been posted on the previous reviews... but I can gratefully reassure them all and, well, repeat some of them - all of them very well deserved, indeed!
The hotel is very cozy, neat and exceptionally clean (specially if compared to other hotels in BsAs). That is a plus,...
"Excellent stay with Magnolia during our honeymoon!"

We traveled to Argentina for our honeymoon in August 2018 and had the best experience at Magnolia Hotel. The hotel is charming and our room was lovely. The location was an easy walk to the heart of the Palermo area. We enjoyed our daily breakfast and coffee in the courtyard. More than anything we loved the people at the hotel....
