"Nice short walking area with cafes and restaurants."
reviewed 29 July 2015 by joelgs23
I've lived next to this street for 4 years. It's a very pretty pedestrian street with some good wine bars, a few decent restaurants, bakeries, etc. There's nothing really special here, but it's good place to walk around and spend some time outside. There is an outdoor stage in the middle that sometimes hosts shows and frequently has outdoor markets...
Serving genuinely good food across an extensive menu, this little local gem is worth a try. The "caidan" (menu) follows the local trend and has plenty of pictures which is handy as the way in which the Chinese describe a dish on any menu is brimming with metaphor and cryptic reference which may or may not relate to the ingredients...
Upon doing this review i am still in the restaurant having dinner with my sister and her family. Food was really good organic vegetable and meat really fresh makes me easily get full. The service is good they have a lady who speaks english.
First visit, very impressive. The server was very nice and gave great recommendations. I love the fresh taste of all sort of seafood. Very relaxing. 400 yuan per person for lunch. Better call to make a reservation before going.
Outstanding sichuan food hidden among many jap restaurant on the 7th floor. Avr bill 70-90 rmb per head. Spice paradise starting from fish , shrimp, octopus and ending with porc brain. All is excellent ( do not miss jinseng leaves)
The hotel is great, good accommodations, very nice food (varied options) and well located - walking distance from a number of shops, dining options etc. Staff in general not so kind - particularly during check-out I was assisted by a man who was extremely inpatient. I asked for a hard copy of my receipts and he was really reluctant to...
Had to stay one night for my buisness trip
Good hotel with location close to city center and near to mall and food court area
Rooms are okay with little dirt on the carpet
Beds were good and comfortable, breakfast was enjoyable but very less option for vegetarian like me
"The worst and the most unhelpful receptionist ever"

The hotel is comfortable and rooms are spacious BUT it’s damp, infested with mosquitos and the ceiling in the bathroom is falling apart because of the humidity in summer.
But the worst part is the front desk service - a lady in short hair with a very bad temper, not only unhelpful but yelling and beating the customers.
