Free to walk around. There are some museums that charge but everything is in Chinese so not sure if you want to spend the cash. Come here if you want to get some authentic handmade dumplings. Nanxiang dumplings are pretty famous in China.
A great selection of top quality examples of a mix of Chinese, American, British, European and Japanese cars on display in a world-class facility! Cars on display have information placards in Chinese and English languages. Plan on spending a few hours here!
If you want to visit an ancient water town and don't want to aggro of having to travel a long way this is the one to do. We did it easily without being able to speak a word of Chinese. Easy to get to on the metro with a 25 minute walk. Lots of shops and food stalls and interesting...
The things I’d do for XLB... it only makes sense to want to visit the birth place of xiaolongbao!! These Shanghainese soup dumplings are 90% of the reason why I love Shanghai so much. Take the dark red line 11 to Nanxiang. Walk 10 mins along Gulong Lu and you’ll find the place where it all began 😍
This is the stand out restaurant in this local area. Ostensibly Muslim but still sells booze. You can't miss it as the whole heritage building is lit up but don't be put off when the doors are not open as they are big imposing ones. Inside its a little tired but the staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is...
Held a business dinner here and both the building and interiors had a wonderful intrigue that left me wanting to spend more time here. Good cocktails but the spirits selection could have been more extensive ( Gin, Whisky & Bourbon). Excellent meal with discreet service. The art selection is in itself worth a visit and provides a great juxtaposition to...
I've been in poor hotels around, this one is fine. Cool breakfast at top floor in executive suite. Also dinner is fine enough, the buffet is nice and the menu too. The room is clean, big. Wifi conection works. Proper english from the lobby people and concierge.
The hotel is good and the service was excellent. Only the location is far away from shanghai, still it depends on where you want to go. The subway is 10 min away from the hotel by taxi. But overall the stay was good.
This hotel is a very nice place to stay. It is very big , clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is friendly and could help in English. There are such a big choice at breakfast and the quality of the food is good. Will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Anting.
the location is good if you have business in Jiading area.
The rooms are nice and clean.
The breakfast buffet in the morning also good.
If you are interested to look The Bund, it will take nearly one hour driving.
The bed is very comfortable for sleep. The desk is well designed for working with your computer or watching TV. As architectural designer and a frequent business traveler, I have to give it two thumbs up without any doubt. The front desk staff and the doorman are very kind to give you service and advice. I will be more than...
