Being one of the oldest areas of Chennai, Nugambakkam is not just a commercial
hub with various educational institutions, premium hotels and government offices,
but the Rutland Gate Road here is one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in the
city. The shopping here is promising with international retail brands and a variety of Indian designer boutiques lined up in the locality with plenty of cafes and restaurants to give good company. An epicenter of Chennai’s vibrant nightlife, Nungambakkam is the gateway to the city’s most favourite stroll at Marina Beach. The long stretch of the promenade and beach at Marina includes historic monuments and public buildings, reflecting Chennai’s Portuguese, British and
Indian heritage and is Chennai’s most popular choice for a relaxed evening.

Valluvar kottam is situated in the heart of Chennai (Madras) city in Nungambakkam. It is a monument constructed in memory of great tamil poet "Thiruvalluvar" who wrote two lines songs, which is called "Thirukural". Monument looks like temple-chariot built 40 years back. This place is tourist attraction.Improvement is required in maintenance.
The experience at Art houz was quite amazing because it had so much to offer and was so spacious. The art in the gallery and outside of it was equally engaging and had many different themes covered. A lovely artsy space for anyone who would like to step in.

The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva in the name of Agatheeswarar facing towards East. Goddess Akilandeswari in the right hand side facing towards south. The walls of the Goddess Shrine...
Had a dinner with colleagues on the day of arrival. We had Appam, Idiappam and stew with some other delicacy. The ambience and feel of the restaurant is very nice. The service was slow and since it was late at night had to request to get the items faster as conversation went on for a long time. The taste of...
All day restaurant in the hotel lobby area. Wide range of options available at breakfast and well presented. All day menu offered various cuisines including a working pizza oven. At each meal the staff made suggestions which were useful as we were very tired on arrival after a long journey.
Myself and 2 of my friends had a great time at Cream Centre.
Mexican BADA Nachos and Channa Batura and Corn Nachos Jalapeno were awesome.
Chocolate Brownie cake was so Soft. fantastic Lunch and we had good time and great conversation. Good Ambience too.
With a perfect ambience and an excellent selection of drinks, Chipstead sets the bar high.
It has always been a pleasure to be at Chipstead, never felt more comfortable. With the eversmiling faces of Amit, Prabhu and ably assisted by their Captain Arun always providing impeccable service. No need to place an order they know exactly what one's preferred drink...
