This statue is mesmerising to look at. It shows Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, taking off like a rocket. His stance makes him look like a superhero. The statue is made of titanium, which is a very hard metal that was used in rockets. Because it is a hard metal, working with it can be very costly. Some...
The church is located to the left of the famous viewing platform opposite the Luzhniki stadium. It was watched by almost every newlywed, who according to the custom of the day of the wedding arrives here, on Vorobyovy Gory (hills). The church is notable for the fact that since its construction it has almost never suffered — neither in the...
One of the last things we did using the Moscow City Card was take the cable car from by the Luzniki stadium (a fair walk from the metro) over to Sparow Hills and back. The journey was probably only 30 minutes total but was relaxing and a nice way to see some of the sites we had visited earlier in...

The restaurant is located on the 22nd floor of the Accademia delle Scienze, in a fairly central position and along the Moscova, so the view is very beautiful and interesting during the day, even if in the evening with the illuminations of the streets it would be fantastic. The very nice and modern pleasantly furnished room is very large and...
PROS : the only restaurant in this area, a beautiful view on The Luzhniki Stadium, two children's rooms - on air and inside, 2 levels of the restaurant with a huge terrace.
CONS: poor menu with the price higher than average, hard to reach the place by car and to park nearby, not for wheelchairs or prams. The nearby area...

I visited this restaurant with a Russian colleague who has lived for several years in South Korea. Indeed the restaurant proposes real korean dishes with quite genuine taste. A lot of Asian people was eating there around us and apparently several were speaking korean... agood sign of autenticity.
Above all, kimchi and vodka are excellent together!!

I stayed at Korston during my short business trip to Moscow.
I wouldn't call it a fancy hotel, but it was nice enough. The bed was very comfy, the shower had nice hot water and I really liked the food at both restaurants.
If you are looking for a small, welcoming hotel in the midst of a large city, the 7th Floor Hotel is it. The staff is efficient, friendly, and can attend immediately to the needs of the visitors. It was truly home away from home for me for six weeks. My first visit was in 1994, and then I was there...
