One of the most recognisable churches in the world. It’s impressive architecture is a true architectural masterpiece.
You can visit the cathedral (which is technically a museum) and photography is permitted inside.
St. Basil's speaks for itself in all honesty
Red Square is known for its political symbolism, but was actually named for its beauty: Krasnaya, or “red,” meant “beautiful” in old Russian. We visited it in February. It had the GUM skating rink and a market kind of set up in the middle. GUM is facing the Red Square and is also one of the sightseeings you can’t miss....
I wanted to visit this museum for a very long time. I’m Russian and I grew up on the most of the paintings that are in this marvelous collection. I came here with my husband, who is a foreigner, and we both really enjoyed the time we spent here. In fact, he said it was the top of all things...
There is so much to take in the first time, so just explore. And it will be free! Then you can tour St. Basel Cathedral and/or inside the Kremlin next time. Stroll through GUM department store as well. Prices are high, but there are some souvenir shops that are reasonaly priced, since it is not at the airport. Metro stops...

"Great to see so good place in the center of Moscow"
reviewed 4 weeks ago by JoaoPiscoPorto
We choose the place trough Tripadvisor because found it on the 4-th place all Moscow's restaurant. We expected expensive prices and bad services like it all around Russia, but it was definitely not. Amazing food and very chip prices, nice service and we found very rare thing in Russia, we found smiles. Highly recommend.
We stayed there and it was amazing, really beautiful hotel with its style, as it was still decorated for christmas- amazing look. The room we had was big and comfy, the breakfast is rich of foods, even with red caviar and pancakes, we suggest to stay there, hotel is very close to saharin restaurant- just cross the street :)
Splendid building, convenient location, diligent and friendly staff - what else does one need when in Moscow? All the attractions of the city center are nearby, including Bolshoi Theater and an excellent restaurant Bolshoi just behind the theater. It's a rather expensive spot, but the quality of service and the food worth it.
So close to the red square is unique and much appreciated!
Personal and.service top. SPA of very high quality, swimming pool amazing
Breakfast excellent, except the breakfast restaurant, with no view outside, too bad!
The St Regis is a very comfortable hotel. The location is wonderful. You can easily walk to many of the main attractions e.g. Bolshoi Theatre, Red Square etc. The staff are wonderful. Everyone is very helpful and attentive. There is a 24 hour butler service available so I was able to have my outfit pressed to attend the opera at...
I stayed in this hotel for a business for a couple of days. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom, coffee, water.
Personnel is very kind and friendly. Would stay here again when next time in Moscow
