"Houses the flea market"
reviewed 13 December 2019 by drogilmour
In contrast to the adjacent structures this one houses the flea market here you can find bronze watches and other items from the Soviet times. To the right you will see lots of hand woven rugs from the eastern republics they are wonderfully made and relatively unexpensive.
It is where Peter the Great spent his childhood. Little ponds, vast spaces that are green all add to the ambiance. The palace itself does not exist but for the entry arches. If you are in the Izmailovsky flea market then I would recommend a quick trip here. Not worth a special trip just to see the estate.
The park can be accessed by one of the side-roads next to a road leading to the Vernisazh (the souvenir section). It's got nice nature and a historical monastery complex behind large walls. Only one gate was open at our time of visit so it was quite a long walk to reach the grounds. Also a fountain and a church...
We visited Izmaylovo Market in our one-stop venue in Moscow. It is beyond Flea market, you will see hundreds of vendors selling everything from souvenirs, fur, food to jewellery. On our first entrance, we were little dazzled, however planning your walk down the narrow way through is a good plan to see everything. The photos are for the Izmailovo kremlin...
"A nice place to dine in an otherwise dull part of town"
reviewed 16 August 2019 by Kudrat N
The meal was decent - both the taste and appearance. The only bad thing about the place is the surroundings - the restaurant is right next to a dumpster, and the place (outside) really stinks when it's hot outside.
I guess another bad thing is that the only parking that the place offers (and the profile here says that they...
I havant been for a few years but hopefully soon I am told the management is still the same.
Food is very nice staff were friendly with an excellent manager who speaks fluent English.
Lovely relaxing atmosphere try the lamb pot:) Its really good.
There is also a car park below the small shopping mall.
Very nice Hotel just opposite Kremlin with an amazing view from the sumptuous Breakfast layout. Value for money. Comfortable rooms and many restaurants around the hotel. Well, the smile on your face is due to 1 km long Breakfast layout first thing in the morning after which you could hop across to see Kremlin!
Although I rated 4* by uk standards it is really 3*.
A bit tired in decor both in rooms and lounge areas . Kettles in rooms was good as none in St Petersburg hotel we went to later.
Breakfast good buffet with fresh cooked eggs, omelettes and pancakes.
Well placed fir partizansky metro which is 5 stops to Red Square...
Hotel near the station in the main square of St. Petersburg. True to its brand, friendly and hospitable. Changed my room, accomodated my requests & great breakfast! They also had basic amenities at reasonable cost rooms with great comfort. Highly recommended.
This huge hotel have more than 2000 rooms. Rooms are cleaned every day but not really setup up such as drinking water, bath soap, and some small items they didn't provide newly if you stay for more than 1 night. But, overall breakfast is good, public facility is OK, location is just fine near to traditional / souvenir market, supermarket,...
Very basic hotel in a Soviet building. Service is quite good. Prices are relatively low for Moscow, as it is located out of the centre. Personally I like that, to stay in a greener area of the city. The good thing is its proximity to the metro, at just 3 minutes walking. The metro drives you to the heart of...
