In Akabane and Itabashi, visitors can get a glimpse of the ordinary day-to-day life of Tokyo. On the east side of Akabane station, there are many traditional shopping districts and small izakayas, while on the west side, there’s a modern shopping mall. Itabashi is currently being developed as a residential area with a huge 1.1km long shopping street that extends from east to west. Rows of shops and izakayas target the down to earth everyday needs of locals. Both Akabane and Itabashi are notable for their easy access to the city center as well as their proximity to Ikebukuro.
I have always been into temples espcially among the Oriental Countries. The one i love mot is the Tokyo Daitsu with the Huge Statue of Buddha, which says a lot about the religion and culture of Japan.
I will always comeback here to wish for prayers and luck.
A must visit.
Happy road is not all that different to other streets in Japan. Happy road has the advantage of being under cover, so no matter what the weather its nice to stroll through. There are some nice little shops and some very good cafes.
They have the best cakes I ever tasted. My daughter ordered for their cheesecake and she said it's like melting in her mouth. We bought a birthday cake too. We celebrated his birthday there.
You can dine there. They have table for two, three and max for four people. The staff were very helpful too. If given a chance again....
Discovered this little burger place hidden underneath Kamiitabashi station.
Widest selection of burgers, with a perfect ingredient to bun to meat ratio.
Friendliest greetings from all the staff and a 80's 90's atmosphere.
Superman welcomes you to this amazing restaurant.
Worth a visit if you are in Nerima Prefecture of Tokyo, near to Kamiitabashi, and want a genuine amazing burger.
Nice & comfortable hotel. The rooms are pretty clean and good enough for a single occupancy.
Little far from Tokyo but good connection from airport. It is very close to Ikebukera station. Tokiwadai is a very small place and has an Indian reataurant as well opp to station.
The hotel staff is very good. They provide complimentary utincils.
The location is good, easy to get connected, with Internet access. To my surprise, the toilet was with was warm water wash, lol. That's Japanese standard, their English is not that fluent by the way ;)
