One of the most popular shopping, entertainment & business hubs of Bangalore that beautifully binds the old world charm of the British era with the modern cosmopolitan vibes is MG Road. It is one of the busiest main streets of the Bangalore Cantonment connected to its larger family of colonial streets that spread through the city, sprinkled with the charm of oldest buildings and churches. From hopping across cafes, restaurants and the oldest pubs & clubs of Bangalore near Church Street to street shopping at Brigade Road to surfing through best book deals at Blossom, MG Road is a convenient getaway for all locals who just want to chill. The evenings near M.G. Road are incomplete without a stop at U.B. City on Vittal Mallya Road for the swankiest nightlife with some of the best rooftop views of the city.
I visited this place last in October 2012 and I really loved it and that is why I visited it again but I did not find it as great as the last time but still, you should visit it once if you really like handicrafts.
An iconic and a unique place for those who are on a quest to acquire a priceless treasure. Established in the year 1945 by Mr. Murthy, this bookshop is literally a huge treasure chest containing a plethora...
Beautiful Catholic Church in town.Adoration chapel. Main church was closed but managed to view the inside with kind consent of cleaners. Stained glass windows. Book store next door with varieties of books n religious articles.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff's service is excellent. Housekeeping is doing an extremely efficient job. Buffet breakfast is scrumptious and filling. They have a change in the menu everyday which does not make it seem repetitive. Only that the buffet rates for lunch and dinner or rates for food should be a little more economic.
The hotel staff gave me a very good experience and helped .
As you enter the lobby the interior is very beautiful modern and clean.
The breakfast at the hotel was amazing so much to choose from. Again I wish I took all the name! Staff were always so smiley and always checking if you need anything. Great service from...
I’ve just returned from a 3 day trip to Bangalore.
I was really impressed by the attention to detail, cleanliness & facilities on offer at the Iris.
The Location is Fantastic too!
The en-suite bedroom was generous in size.
The housekeeper must be a perfectionist, judging by the bed linen , which was like marble.
Not the slightest crease to...
I and my family were there first for three nights and then for two nights after a gap of three nights when we were to Coonoor. The first time we were given Room No. 1016 and during our second stay, we were allotted Room 807.
The hotel is centrally located in the city and access to any part is easier...
Stayed at The Monarch from 4th to 14th March 2020. This was my second stay at the hotel. This time I travelled with my family; we stayed in 3 rooms (201, 210 and 222).
The check-in process was fast. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay at the hotel. Always smiled and greeted us...
