One of the most popular shopping, entertainment & business hubs of Bangalore that beautifully binds the old world charm of the British era with the modern cosmopolitan vibes is MG Road. It is one of the busiest main streets of the Bangalore Cantonment connected to its larger family of colonial streets that spread through the city, sprinkled with the charm of oldest buildings and churches. From hopping across cafes, restaurants and the oldest pubs & clubs of Bangalore near Church Street to street shopping at Brigade Road to surfing through best book deals at Blossom, MG Road is a convenient getaway for all locals who just want to chill. The evenings near M.G. Road are incomplete without a stop at U.B. City on Vittal Mallya Road for the swankiest nightlife with some of the best rooftop views of the city.
For those wanting peace and tranquility. A visit to this church in the heart of Bangalore is a must. One of the oldest churches in town. And very beautiful and scenic.
A prayer for the world at this church is a must.
I visited this church at around 8:00 AM on a Thursday as it was close to my hotel. It was closed and quiet however there was a door open at the back and the guard allowed me to go in. It is a beautiful church.
Top quality ground. Well maintained too. A lot of children take coaching classes here early in the morning. Currently the All India postal hockey championship is going on. Also the Indian hockey team is having their camp here. Will be lucky if you could spot few international players.
Honestly, MG Road isn't what it used to be, for good. After Metro work is complete and shopping spirit restored, it's gotten better than before to visit or stroll on a breezy evening. Also, it's a pleasurable experience to go back to the MG park nearby to stretch legs, admire greenery amid busy district and go back home...

Each dish/ all local ingredients are well explained and selected. I was a single guests and they offered me small portions so that I...

Sunday brunch, one of the best spread that I have had so far. Trust Oberoi's to create a magical gastronomic treat coupled with outstanding hospitality. We had the best of Oysters, mussels, barbequed pork ribs, jumbo...
I went to Nagarjuna for lunch and was amazed to see the crowd lined up to eat. We had to wait for about 10-15 minutes before we got a table. However, the wait was worth it. The food is all Andhra style and we ordered chicken biryani and Nagarjuna special roast chicken. Both the dishes were delicious and the service...

The Taj Gateway Hotel on Residency Road offers a lot of advantages. One, it is located right in the centre of the city. Plus, backed by the Taj Group, you are assured of the quality of the accommodation. Even the food here is much better than average hotels in Bangalore.
