Phenomenally gorgeous building, unbounded hospitality, extreme friendliness and a fascinating experience. Was a pleasure and enriching weekend spent attending services and meals at this magnificent structure and community
Stumbled across this gallery over the weekend at River Valley. Really nice space and loved the works by Cai Jun and Luo Dan. If you’re a bit of an art gallery hunter then I’d thoroughly recommend a stop off here.
I'm not regularly a fan of prawn mee but I love love love the wok-fried white bee hoon here. So much flavour and such juicy and fresh prawns! Comes with a bowl of prawn broth that is intensely flavourful. It costs 3 times as much as normal prawn mee, but soooo worth it.
We popped in for a quick lunch, and had the (between the both of us) amongst other things, the beef rendang, sayur lodeh, chicken curry. All were good, as was the teh tarik. The sambal was also delicious and suitably spicy.
If you want coffee after, it's just next door to Killiney Kopitiam.
This place has great Chinese live band music and their carrot cake and spam dish pairs really well with alcohol. It’s one of the few places that sells Hoegarden rose by the tower.
Always a place a rely on for a great night out whenever I’m in Clarke quay.
