This temple has a majestic tower up front with ornate figures decorating the tower. The area where you take off the shoe is also beautifully decorated with multi-arms goddess adorning the walls. Inside, murals covered the ceiling and figurines lined the wall. There is another beautiful tower in the courtyard in the back. If you are in the neighborhood, this...

"A window into old Singapore."

We'd thought of having breakfast at Mr. & Mrs. Moghan's Paratha stall in Joo Chiat Road. Took a bus upto the end of SIMS street and then walked down to the restaurant. Its a longish walk. But along the beautiful and elegant Joo Chiat road it doesn't seem all that long. Especially in the morning before the sun is out...
So this is the Residence of local Singaporean, built about 1920's. Looking good with colorfull fasad, and nice pedestrian.
TIPs: visit around 8AM or after 5PM, and dont forget your umbrealla. Its pretty Hot.
Very interesting experience. It smells like a pizza shop (Because of their cones). Always a queue here and now I know why. They've got amazing range of unique flavours. Tried the chrysanthemum one which is popular here and was pleasantly surprised!

This is the second time i’ve been to this restaurant and it has not disappointed me. I wa craving for their bread with duck foie gras and their homemade desserts and i would say my cravings are being satisfied. I love their cheesecake and chocolate tart! The lady boss is warm and friendly too! Great feeling dining here
The Santa Grand is a smart, clean and well run hotel at very competitive prices. It is located in the lively Katong district with its many bars and restaurants. It is near to the lovely East Coast Park and has good bus routes to Singapore’s main attractions. Taxi fares are very reasonable and the MRT system is being extended so...
I stayed for 1 night and found the hotel room quite comfortable especially for the price. If you are a large person you will find the bathroom very small. The reception desk staff were very efficient. There are many places to eat and drink along the street.
