I visited the Central Sikh Temple in an evening. The temple is very close to Boon Keng MRT and bus stops. The temple is beautiful from the outside and majestic inside.
All age groups are welcome here. We got a chance to attend a public food festival, organized every weekend. The food was very nice and fulfilling.

Well known for it chicken rice, the restaurant also offers a variety of ala carte Chinese dishes which are equally good. The place is always crowded on weekends and you may end up having to take a table where there is no aircon. The restaurant is highly recommended for both new and frequent patrons.
I must first set the context: I don’t enjoy Ba Kwa but I brought my partner there cos he likes the meat.
Boy was I in for a treat!
I enjoyed every dish there. I repeat, I’m not a bakwa eater at all! But I walked away feeling that I had a yummy meal!
Recommended for a novel experience!
Pleasantly suprised to find the food just as good as the Harry Potter decorations. We just popped in before heading to the airport but the mozzarella sticks and truffle fries are to die for! And the desserts are an experience not to be missed!
Stumbled upon this hawker centre when I was trying to find my way to the MRT station. Nice chicken rice (one of the best I've tried on this trip) and friendly people. This neighbourhood is not touristy at all so you could ensure what you enjoy here is authentic local fare.
