Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall is housed in a tastefully decorated two storey villa off Ah Hood Road.
Entry into the museum is free of charge for Singaporeans and guests of nearby Ramada & Days hotel.
But there is no charge for everyone if you only visit the house outer compound.
Inside you can find artifacts, photos, and newspapers describing...
This is actually one of my favourite churches in Singapore. On many occasions I have had my prayers answered.
Several miracles have also taken place in my life and many of these defy logic so my next question is: how did this thing happen? I tell you the real GEM at this church is the presence of the BLESSED VIRGIN...
This is a clever use of space by NParks. Possibly an ABC project too. Walking and cycling paths were constructed along the waterways to consitute the park. There is a car park, public toilets and a restaurant at the front of this park.
We were invited by my old friend, Christine, for lunch at 21 on Rajah. This restaurant is at the Day’s Hotel. We were not familiar with the area so we took a taxi there. It was a lunch buffet and there were quite a few people there. The variety of the food, was good. The fish was the first to...
"Great compromise between hotel food and street stalls. "

For those who want to escape their hotel and experience some good Singaporean cuisine but don't feel comfortable in the cheaper food markets, this restaurant offers excellent quality food at a pricepoint somewhere between the two.
There can be long queues to get in, but I usually take that as a good sign.
The crowd is a good mix of...
Beautiful ambience in front of Zhongshan Park, with outdoor seatings available.
Starker consist of 2 adjoining premises - Bistro and Music.
There is live music after 8pm at Starker Music, performed by 2 singers.
You can have a meal at Bistro, and move to Music for drinks and songs.
I have tried 4 types of fresh beer - Classic Ale...
There is 2 blocks of food and normally these stalls start businesses around 11am. Morning will have less stalls. Most of the stalls quality of food was above average. Other than the food court a little stuffy, everything was good
The room is quite small, but good tidy, clean and simple.
Breakfast is ok.
Location is just outside of city, but easy to transport to get there, no problem.
Staffs at desk, are very helpful and polite.
"Nice hotel but customer service could be better "

Stayed here for 4 night in mid March. The room was modern and clean and the bathroom had a large walk in shower. Tea & Coffee making facilities were provided.
The plug sockets at one side of the bed didn't work as well as the bathroom extractor fan not working which we reported to reception who said they would get...
I couldn't fault reception, as they did everything they could to help with check in, taxis, local businesses etc. The staff working in the rooms we pleasant, trustworthy and always cheery.
The TV in the room had only 1 non Singapore channel, so entertainment has to be found elsewhere.
Plenty of food around, supermarkets, restaurants etc. A 15 min walk...
After three months spent in rural areas in Papua New Guinea, this hotel was just what I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. I had all of what I needed in the room. The room was just spacious enough for Southern Asia standards, but I have seen even smaller rooms and bathrooms. I really loved the...
"It is a clean hotel to stay and Mr. Tan Koi is the man"

Stayed for a few days in this property and it is clean, but the rooms are real small. No breakfast or food on premises, but you can walk and there is many places for food outside. Mr. Tan, the porter is a really nice guy and very helpful. He can be the difference for a great vacation in Singapore.
