Famous Market, with clothes, paintings, Food, Toys, Electronics. Very nice Market to visit and buy some souvenirs or local products. The Beaches here are awesome, and they also have Water Sport Clubs, where you can rent some gear to do windsurf, Cayaking or Sailing.
This trail offers great walks with wonderful scenery around the reservoirs, the trails are varied and you can choose according to you ability. The heritage aspect includes many water-related structures such as bridges, dams and pumphouses dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries - so it's an interesting day out for civil and structural engineers! You can get there...
The entrance is just behind (to the west of) Murray House, and the park is free. It is a nice area for walking, with scenic views from the upper walkways and some interesting interpretive signs. The park is well-maintained.
Always great to be back at Beef and Liberty at Stanley Plaza, service is all over very attentive and the food is simple, but good. When we orderd a bottle of champagne, they brought us first two complimentary glasses prosecco because the bottle...
Cute cafe. Very family friendly with good kids. Menu, and staff were delightful. Food was tasty.
Interior is a bit dark and could do with an update but I would recommend the cafe to anyone out and about in Stanley. Was perfect for a family lunch!
After a busy walk around Stanley Market, Smuggler's Inn offer a restful view over the sea. The beer is good and the decoration inside a bit grimmy but outside there are plenty of tables.
Note its bar service only.
The barmaid was nuts but in a good way!
We decided to have lunch here and was not disappointed. The service was great and the menu range was more than i expected. A great pub style restaurant to either just relax and have a drink or stay for lunch or dinner. Location is perfectly situation across from the bay, great for people watching and chilling out.
Stayed here in one of two rooms a large group of us rented out for a birthday party and I was very impressed: our room was huge and lovely. I would normally have taken another star off for the high price but it’s the only option round here so I think it’s fair when compared to other HK hotels.
