Neighbouring Hongdae, the Sinchon / Ewha area by Yonsei University and Ewha Womans University is a popular student hangout spot known for its youthful jovialness. The two respective schools and their beautiful settings are among the best in Korea. As the main demographic in the area are younger students, most of the businesses cater to their tastes with price ranges to match. The plethora of things to do in the area makes it busy all through the day and night. The area around Ewha is particularly popular with women as it’s famed for its shopping and affordable hair and nail salons.

"Beautiful campus-a must visit for architecture lovers"
reviewed yesterday by Calvin C
This place is justifiably popular to visit due to its beautiful architecture. Most people ignore the museum which is small but has a good collection of art and historical artifacts and is free to visit. I have never seen a university that looks like this one.
Great for shopping, targeted at the younger generation and ladies. Less crowded than Myeongdong so walking around was more comfortable. The street food carts also sells at a cheaper price. Not so much of skincare shops, it has mixture of clothes and accessories (socks, earrings etc). There is also a LINE store and I visited Ewha Woman's University.
The university area is very big, and the building the building that I went to is located far behind all of those modern campus buildings. It requires you to climb many stairs, but it'll be worth it. I went there on summer, and it was very pretty there, I can already imagine just how beautiful it would be on fall....
Came here for exchange a long time ago and the campus had undergone renovations. There may not be any main attraction here as compared to Ewha University but overall, the vibe is better.
Not a must go place for tourist but for prospective students, this is a great campus.
As always Indian food manage to fill our tummy with brilliant and amazing spiced food although I am not a chili person
But the food was amazing and the staff were very kind and helpful
We’ve enjoyed the food... it was bit difficult to find at the beginning but it was nice to know just opposite to the Sinchon station...
First and foremost this may not be a restaurant for all travellers. It is a very different experience from anything I’ve experienced so far. So initially when entering the place (if there isn’t a wait) you will be shown to several large beef kegs types coolers. From there you will be asked what type of selection you would like. For...
Ginseng season give a distinct flavoring while the miso is typical Japanese flavor . The wild berry and wine flavor are colorful . Hot flavoring is spicy. Free flow of vegetables, fresh garlic , salad and white radish . The seafood soup is good . The pork is reasonably tender in various seasoning.
"Delicious Gobchang and fried rice is what you must eat"
reviewed 8 July 2017 by saenalc2016
This place serves Gobchang(beef and pig instestine). Probably one of the best gobchang places in Seoul! But you need to wait quite long and this place is very casual. You must eat fried rice after gobchang.
Located right between Sinchon and Ewha station. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
Spacious room with full kitchen amenities and washing machine. Two bottle water provided for free.
Nice and helpful reception, they have umbrella and drying rack for rental.
Don't expect anything luxurious, obviously. The bed was comfortable, the room not too noisy. It was just a bit humid in the room, and the heater didn't work well at first.
The shower was fine ; like in most korean places the shower is above the toilet.
For one night it's okay.
Easy to find and close to the subway. The staff was very friendly and even carried my bags to my room in the third floor. But, the room smelled like smoke and the bathroom was extremely small. I do not know how I would have taken a shower there. Also, there was a lot of mildew. Breakfast is served at...
This is probably the nicest hotel in Seoul we stayed in so far. The service was friendly, the rooms were simply great. We stayed there twice during our journey, and both times they upgraded us to the superior rooms that were huge, very nicely done, with wonderful wooden floors and even steam saunas in the baths. This hotel also provided...
I had booked that Hotel for 6 days because of the location. Both within easy access from the Airport via Arex and downtown on the Green line. The hotel is easy to find off the Ehwa Women Univiversity station. The neigbhorhood is lively with a few restaurants and shops. There is a post office located nearby. Area is not very...
