If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
Eat, see, and stay in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
We discovered by chance this tourism office where we get to try the traditional hanbok and took pictures. This was so much fun and the lady was super kind and nice !
A great worthy stop at Seocho to be immersed in Korean culture 🥰

I have visited 2 times in 3 years and had the good fortune to meet some of the great staff that represent TKD in Korea and in the development of the sport.
I was presented with a visitor certificate on arrival and hosted through a short tour.
The museum was very interesting and my host was able to translate some...
For sure take a picture if you happen to stumble upon this stage. What else is more outstanding in this part of Seoul but for Kpop agencies, plastic surgery clinics and Psy's "Oppa Gangnam Style" dance.
absolutely loved VR station so much so that we went back again. Best thing to do is to get the three hour pass. It was so empty so we got to go on everything multiple times! Would recommend to anyone going to Seoul. Absolutely epic

I strongly recommend you guys to visit this bar which is in traditional marketplace, especially when you visit gangnam!
Also, you can taste exclusive cocktails made with korean traditional spirits.

This hotel is located 10 min walk from Yeoksam station and one subway stop away from Gangnam station, main business and commercial area of gangnam district. You can find a few restaurants nearby, but is quite convenient to go gangnam station where you’ll find a hundred more options.
The room is very practical and cozy with everything you need. It...
What an amazing time with a great hotel it was very quaint and clean with the most comfortable bed I was up on floor 17 so I also had a great view of the area i would definitely recommended staying easy cab ride from everything and not a far walk from the transit

Centrally located in Gangnam
Please ask for a room to the back (less noisy)
Great breakfast buffet with international and local choice
Gym is well equipped but very busy in the early morning (seems open to locals)
This could be one of the best hotels i've stayed. The hotel is huge, extremely clean and very luxurious. The room was amazing, with a big and very comfortable bed.
The bathroom was split in two, with the toilet separated. There were two options for taking a shower (!) which i loved. The toilet was this high-tech toilet with seat...
The hotel was newly built and really clean. The people at the reception desk were very helpful.
We didn't realize our room was so tiny small. If we switched to a bigger room, $25/day more.
The location was the best. #9 Subway is just around the corner and behind the Kyobo Building, most of the taxi drivers knew. I would...
