Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
My friends and I showed up and almost bought a ticket to head straight to the skywalk. The ride up is pretty cool because the elevator is interactive!
I visited the rooftop bar and the panoramic view from here is one of the best in the downtown area. The menu has a large selection of drinks and the service was very friendly (thanks to Khun Bumbim). Would definitely come back again.
This is possibly the best breakfast location in Bangkok. The level of choice and freshness of the ingredients is second to none.It is great to have fresh young coconuts available as a healthy breakfast drink alternative as well. The service is stellar as well.
Lovely riverside restaurant -extremely helpful and friendly staff - Ms Peggy and Ms. Faz went out of their way to accommodate special dietary requirements and we had a delicious meal - and delightful entertainment provided by Thai dancers.
This is a great hotel. The most wonderful staff and management. I will stay here next time I am in Bangkok. We felt like royalty, nothing was too much trouble. We received a room upgrade to a lovely corner room . I would also like to commend all the staff we encountered and in particular the Hungarian manager (sorry didn’t...

We can only comment on the restaurant this time however it’s a very well located one with superb views of the river with all its hustle and bustle. The food is always divine, the menu comprehensive and the experience exceptional and this occasion was no different. Superb staff are always on hand and so charming, another great night.
So I stayed at this hotel in March, the 5th through the 8th before I flew to Phuket to stay there a few days. I have stayed at a few W hotels before but this one was one of the nicer ones. I went to Thailand to celebrate my birthday and what they did for me and my room was...
We have enjoyed our stay front the first minute until the last. The staff of the reception desk was really outstanding with their advices.
The layout and the refurbishment of the room is very good. Maybe some more place for clothes would be better.
The room service is just spotless.
