I took a circle line boat ride ( 3 temples stop at Wat Arun, Wat Kalaya and Wat Rakang at 30 Baht ) from Wat Arun pier. In Thailand, we have 2 famous big Buddha image , aka, Sam Por Kong which are revered and worshiped by Chinese immigrants, the older one is located at Wat Panancherng , Ayuthaya and...
Yes, the temple itself is quite nice. And yes, the little museum you walk through to see all the amazing relics they unearthed while fixing the temple is very cool. And yes, the architecture of this place is pretty impressive. However, the real reason you HAVE to go here is to go to the little pond next door and feed...
We never knew how much Portuguese influenced in the Thailand history until we visited Kudi Chin area. Walk around the neighborhood was peaceful and felt like time was frozen here.
This church was 1 of the many historical places in Kudi Chin. Highly recommended to have at least half a day to go around this area.
Google Maps helped us find this museum as it is hidden in a small soi off to one side of the church, but we thought it was worth finding. It seems a surprise to find a Portuguese community in the midst of the city of Bangkok!
The exhibits show a wide range of family furniture and belongings across generations. We...
We chose this restuarant on the basis of it being the best rated on trip advisor. Overall, it was a good entertaining experience watching the chef cook your food in front of you, to your specification. Food tasted great. At the top end for cost but as mentioned, its for the show as well as the taste.
My wife and I were staying at the hotel and we decided to attend the buffet/show. The food was great and fairly varied. Not a particularly Thai menu but selection was great.
The show was a nice touch that kept us entertained on our last night in town.

My wife and I originally booked a 3 nights stay before our onwards journey to Sydney however due to the Covid-19 and travel restrictions we were unable to enter Australia. As a result we extended our stay at this beautiful resort for a whole week. Despite very low occupancy we were very well looked after and that is a credit...
BLI is my second home when I travel to Bangkok. Always the best services and location is suitable for any need to move around Bangkok, close to BTS which is one of the mass transit system in Bangkok.Plenty of street food and the local restaurant.
Hotel is in quiet and safe location, has got big and modern rooms. Good breakfast are included and staff is very nice. . We had non-functional heater in bathroom.
Hotel is not that close to the city center.
The Hotel Staffs are very nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Location not central, but MRT just a few steps away. Below hotel there are Macdonald's, Convenient Store and Pharmacy.
Downside are the lifts and Breakfast.
Lifts - during Morning and evenings, it is very packed with tour groups members, had to walk down the stairs several times....
