Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.

My sister had smoked carp salad which was served under a lid...
We went in a family group for a short week day break. The hotel was gorgeous, friendly and peaceful. Staff could not do enough for you from Michael on the desk to Elena who waited on breakfasts. Hotel very handy for trams into the centre of Prague and close to the Zizkov TV Tower. Will definitely return.
Nice charming hotel , well situated in a quiet district , close to the métro station Namesti Miru and tramways, clean large room , well furnished with all amenities . Nice bathroom, staff very kind and welcoming, good breakfast! Great value for money. I do recommend this hotel.
Here I am on 31st December 2019 reflecting on the year....
My first ever visit to Prague features as my highlight of the year. But, I am a cynic, I admit it!
