Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
John Darling's old grainstore dates back to 1883 and has a ground floor of bluestone. It is now an eatery - rare Steakhouse and the surrounding warehouses on this block have been re-purposed in the same way.
This is a great market for foodies. There is an abundance of stalls selling a great variety of foods and ingredients. If you love food and cooking this market is a must. The deli stalls are amazing , along with the pasta stalls and the Turkish delight stall is amazing. I would also recommend Ann’s fish and chips - the...

Hyberbaric Chamber (30 mins):
Great for recovery purposes after a long workout or, through multiple sessions, heal an injury. A little bit of ear-popping but it is definitely worth the trying out. Way better than wearing an oxygen mask. This should be your go-to place right after the gym. (Or maybe even the hospital...)
Infrared Sauna (30 mins):
We took on the Last Night rises - 2 of our group were experienced escape room players and said it was the best one they had done.
The room is really well put together - lots of physical parts to the puzzles as well as mental.
Excellent experience in all respects. Authentic french food with menu extending into all things duck, rabbit, etc and extensive wine list of high quality. This was topped up with outstanding service from the waitress and there are excellent acoustics.
"Great. A little pricey, but left extremely satisfied regardless."

Enjoyed a beautifully cooked Medium Rare T-Bone, mushroom sauce, paired with a couple of different dark ales to complement the very tender, well seasoned cut.
As someone who is very fussy when it comes to a preparing & cooking a good steak myself, I was a little apprehensive in deciding on The Squires Loft, South Yarra.
But I'm glad we...
Whenever in Melbourne I try to make it here at least once. One if the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at - and I have been to Italy multiple times. It can be busy and noisy and tables are tight. But the standard of the food and service is exceptional. I love it. The seafood linguini still has...
A wonderful stay, attentive and considerate staff who are focussed on providing a great experience for their guests. Also, pleasing to see senior management involvement in day to day activities including a visible presence at breakfast as well as later in the day. Well done team!
I’m staying 4 nights here,
The receptionists are very nice and helpful,
They gave me a huge 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms suite for the price of a regular room which is very nice.
It’s located right next to all the restaurants and bars in South Yarra,
The only thing I don’t like is what they call gym, one small room...

I haven't been back to the Quest Chapel street for at least 12 months. previously I felt the property was ageing and the interior décor not up to the standard you would expect in an upmarket part of inner Melbourne. Competition is fierce for business traveller bookings and I'm glad to see a refreshed décor, engaging, welcoming and accommodating staff.
Easy to find, parking around the back of the block.. nice clean reception area, staff were friendly..
First room we had - the bathroom was locked from the inside but they quickly swapped our room..
New room was spacious, clean and quiet..
Across the road is Zumba’s deserts, then up the road is the very yummy Two Birds One Stone...
I have stayed there few times. It is situated in heart of south Yarra. Just next to station few shops down. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. Very convenient and the price it self is very affordable. Nice and clean place to stay in budget.
