A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
The kid will love this place and couples and everyone will find this place very interesting and just nice to visit for a day out. A lovely trip over by ferry to manly beach then a short walk down the esplanade containing great shopping and eating places.
We did the Manly to North Head walk and it was wonderful. About 9 km, which took us about 2.5 hours, it was super hot, but we brought water and had sunscreen and hats so were fine. The walk is filled with amazing views and is very peaceful. Didn’t see any other people on most of the hike which was...
THE most amazing venue you could wish for .
Service a little slow but didn't worry us as we had plenty of time.
Lovely Italian food and wines reasonably priced .
Have been back many times and will continue to do so.
Take the time to have a walk while your in the area !
you won't be disappointed m.
We did the Adults only Ghost Tour last night. Deb was our guide. It was great! I learnt so much! I also had a few spooky encounters... particularly in that shower area. I thought my friends might pull my leg a bit but one had an encounter with Samuel. Whether it was our imagination running wild - I don’t think...
We were fortunate to be visiting Australia just prior to the Sanctuary's closure on the 28th January. Our two young granddaughters (six and three and a half) loved this place and it was a final chance for them to see it. The place was very child orientated and an deal introduction to the young to marine life. Farewell
totally delicious. new spin on old favorites, excellently presented fresh as and oozing in flavor. relaxed and cosy on a rainy nigh even though it was busy. Friendly staff, great service, great wine list an over all lovely evening. made our special night special...thanks to all
I visited the Belgrave Cartel for a quick bite on my lunch break. It's brief and easy walk from the Manly Wharf to their cute location on Belgrave St. The atmosphere is quant, rustic and very peaceful. They have sidewalk seating, indoors seating, and a pretty outdoor patio with lots of greenery for additional seating. It wasn't very busy when...
Without a doubt the best coffee in Manly, strong, smooth and quick. I went to Brezel Bar numerous times over my stay in Manly, I was always greeted with a smile and extremely friendly staff that were very informative on the different wonderful breads available. On my first visit I ordered the open sandwich with avocado on rye bread, which...
Found this little gem after arriving from UK the night before. So after a stroll along beach I wandered around back streets to find somewhere for breakfast.
Staff were welcoming and coffee was spot on so much so I had a take away when I left.
Loved the Salmon extravaganza- yummy start to the day
Came in for lunch, they had a special $10 menu but would definitely have been happy to pay full price. We got the supreme pizza and spaghetti Milano. Both we fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back!
The staff are very helpful, with the rooms spacious and clean. Everything is within walking distance - loved watching the ferries come and go. there is always something to see happening on the water. Lots of excellent food options close.
Room 10 was wonderful, great view of the bay, and tropical birds in the trees outside our veranda. Although the property was a little remote it was nice to have a calmer atmosphere after days of sightseeing. Staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was really very good and worth the 200+ stairs to get to it!
The location is the best feature of this hotel. It's directly opposite Manly Beach and close to restaurants and shops. The studio room was large enough but I expected the kitchenette to be bigger as we were in a Studio Deluxe room and supposed to have a microwave - no microwave. The Queen bed was very soft which would be...
Had an enjoyable weekend here. Room was a good size, clean and beds comfortable. Building in need of a renovation. Free bubble in the afternoon is a nice touch. Plenty of options for food and drink in and around the hotel. Would stay here again.
There is no doubt in my mind as a renter that Manly Paradise Motel & Apartments has the view and location you want. The room fit out was fairly ordinary and the bedrooms not the best but the view from the main room, and the balcony are perfect.
Parking under the building is an adventure and there is/was an absolutely...
