Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
A stunning place to visit, walk around and take pictures. The museum buildings are stunning, grand and the architecture is beautiful. Tons of people just sitting and enjoying the beauty. No fee unless you enter the museums If you don’t go in the museums just to visit and absorb the beauty won’t be more than an hour. But if you...
Loved our visit here. Varied art on display - if you're pushed for time and have to choose between here and Mumok, we'd definitely recommend the Leopold. Only criticism is that the staff are over zealous with telling you not to get to close (they're probably bored).
I must admit we visited the Imperial furniture collection because it was included on the Sisi ticket and not because of any great interest in furniture, but to be fair it was a well presented and interesting museum. A short walk from the Ringstasse, it is set off one of Vienna's main shopping streets. The museum is tucked away and...
Visited here with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the narrow streets and interesting items for sale and the food. The only downside was the attitude of a couple of the stall holders when we didn’t buy something-my friend was called a s..thead in German which we both understood. Slightly tainted an enjoyable evening

This restaurant is really tucked away from the street which makes it very exclusive. It is definitely not cheap but the service and food are amazing. The beverage list is very extensive and it was hard to choose from this. We had the lobster bisque as a starter which was perfect. I had a burger, meat was good but bun...
This hotel is near the important museums but slightly off the beaten path, which I very much liked. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was bountiful, including a large variety of healthy options. It seemed the perfect place to stay.
great hotel, great services and excellent rooms very confy. I truly enjoyed my stay there. Lot of restuarants around. Next time in Wien I'll come back. THe location in a old building makes the entire experience first very weird anf then very pleasant and original.
Lovely, clean, comfortable. Modern, light and airy. A lovely stay.
Hotel in general-
Quirky and fun. The library and meeting rooms were a nice touch and there’s also a movie room showing films at set times.
The bar area was very nice.
Great location, right near a metro so perfect for seeing the city. On a main street...
We took a family room for 2 adults and 2 children and had a delightful stay.
The room itself was large and perfectly suitable for a family. All the family rooms overlook the interior of the hotel so you don't get a nice view which is a shame. There is however a mini kitchen with a sink and a cooker...
The hotel is absolutely perfefect and i like the crazy style. The stuff is very friendly and helpful and i feel very comfortable when i stay there.
Somethimes the prize is too high when the demand is too high. But thats business :)
