We were looking for something to do on Sunday together with our daughter. Finally found this little gem directly in Vienna. It is a sight with a lot of history to tell! And you also have the chance during the guided tour to watch the sun/the stars with an old telescope. All the mechanic of this observatory still works (moving...
This is a fantastic place to go swimming with smaller children. It has both indoor and outdoor swimming, various sized pools, including an outdoor baby pool. It also has a park with jungle gym and swings and slides. Also a bar and a Café for food and drinks. Very highly recommended.
This concrete church means the end of art nouveau and leads way to art deco and modern architecture. It is a church for poor workers from the Ottakring: no luxury, simple materials and decorations, house of real God for all. Plečnik built a church and lower part with chapels with great imagination and many perfect details. This is a spot...
My twin brother Stephen and I had just been to the wonderful Ottakringer Brauerei and we were wandering around this part of town when we chanced upon this beautiful church and what a great find.
We couldn't gain entry as the church was closed on our visit but the exterior of this church is awesome, it's long clock faced spire...
"Most powerful experience in whole our trip to vienna"

We were looking for a special place for dinner, and couldn't believe it will become so much more than just a dinner. Its a whole experience, an event which will leave you very fullfil emotionally and will make you think a bit differently about things you see as obvious. I don't want to ruin the surprise, whenever expectations you will...
We visited on a busy weekend evening, The restaurant was packed but our reservation meant we were quicky seated in a quiet area. The service was quick, even seamless. All 5 of us had the weiner schnitzel, it came nicely prepared c/w fresh lemon. Our food was excellent, the service was great and the cost reasonable I strongly recommend this...

This is an unusual place with true Austrian Atmosphere. The decor is great and authentic, there are doors in the ceiling and interesting pictures of the silent movie area on the walls.
The beer choice is great and the service very friendly and funny.
The food is Austrian traditional, simple and tasty.
We would definitely go back there !

"Adopted and improvised Italian"

Another scam under Italian Restaurant “branding”.
A flag and a waiter talking Italian do not make a restaurant Italian.
Gnocchi funghi e zucca - floating in melted cheese and panna, pumpkin was raw and not cooked, there were round thin slices of meat (chicken or turkey?) and smell of truffle. An acidic taste, maybe of vinegar, made this...
Being a Greek, I have definitely high standards when it comes to Greek food. This place is amazing, I have tried octopus, spetzofai and Dakos salad : all of the highest quality and amazing taste. Definitely recommend it, I will again visit very soon
This hotel is situated on top of Wilhelminenberg in Vienna and it was converted from a small palace into a hotel - hence the name Schloss meaning Palace/Manor in german.
- location - on top of a hill, on the side of Vienna but even that is not central you only drive 15 minutes to the city center - so...
Very old hotel, poorly maintained. Furniture covered with blankets to cover stains, bathroom sink cracked, rag towels. Junk stored in the corridor.
The worst was that there is no air conditioner in the room, only ventilator. It was so hot we couldn't stay in the room during the day. We asked for any solution (portable cooler, extra ventilator) but were...
"Great hotel in a convenient location close to Vienna's beautiful countryside"

This is an excellent hotel . The service is first class and the breakfast was varied and freshly prepared. There's a bus stop right outside the front door so that you can be at the Ottakring underground station within 10 minutes and in the city centre within half an hour. The beauty of this location is that you can visit...
This hotel used to be a palace with beautiful grounds and mature trees. Hotel staff is great and helpful, very clean, rooms are clean and comfortable with white sheets on beds. Breakfast good with lots to offer. Lots of free parking and room prices are very good. Only drawback was only one English speaking channnel on tv - CNN.
The hotel and rooms are a little dated but acceptable. The breakfast is good: soft and good bread and everything else was delicious. The staff is courteous and affable. However, this hotel is suitable for those who have no pretensions: perfect for stays of maximum 3 days.
