My one complaint with this trip out to Muiderslot would be the lack of signs pointing you to the boat while you're still in the city. The easiest way to know you're in the right spot is that if you see a small marina, cross the major road to the river and look for the only boat that moored their....
Enneus Heermabrug (bridge) is a bridge in a quite new neighbourhood in Amsterdam, the Ijburg. The Ijburg is located on the eastern edge of the city. The bridge was finished in 2001 and it is for cars, pedestrians, bikers and tram traffic (tram number 26). From a distance you see it just a bridge but when you are standing on...
So my experience with this company is based on one trip with this angry driver.
He needed to wait 5 more minutes till my colleague was down from his room. He was in a hurry. It was a good trip for him because we were going to the airport. Very impolite, not friendly at all.
There are enough other companies....
Great beach at IJburg. Ijburg is an excellent place to visit. Nice restaurants and terasses on the harbour side. Great to learn stand up paddling or surfing on the beach side of IJburg. Strand Blijburg (beach Blijburg) is not only the best beach of Amsterdam but also a great place for parties and beach bbq.
We’ve been here before and were never disappointed. The service is spot on and the food is great. The menu offers various asian dishes that you can share among the table.. In weekends it’s quite busy and with good reason. The interior offers something to look at while dining. All together a great experience!
Great Italian restaurant for really original Italian cuisine and we love the wood oven pizza's too, also nice to take home. Staff is friendly and it is a cosey place to be with enough tables. The Italian wines are great too. Relaxed atmosphere and in summer there is a nice terrace in front of the restaurant with excellent street view.
I was looking forward to some nice grilled meat and squid. I walked away very disappointed.
I should have been warned enough when the, otherwise very friendly, waiter asked if the lamb rack (as per menu) could cooked as separate pieces. Instead of proper lambchops I got the cheaper cuts, and almost to well done. So much so that the...
"Best cooked Secreto Iberico in a restaurant ever! "
reviewed 14 January 2020 by BertWolters
Right from the start a top knotch experience.
A friendly welcome from the bartender, superbly prepared Secreto Iberico (special that day) with some green vegetables and home made fries.
A doppio concluded the meal, served complete with water and other peripherals.
The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Although it is not in city centre, it takes around 12-15mins on tram (#26) to city only and it runs every few minutes.
The drinks in the fridge are free including 2 bottles of Heineken beer, very nice!
The shower cube doesn’t have a door or step so...
