Very cool exploration of the microscopic world. This is a truly unique museum. Learn about bacteria and viruses. Covers everything from diseases to soil to fermentation (i.e. beer), with interactive exhibits. The olfactory (smell) display is quite interesting. I highly recommend if you are in to the microscopic world and looking through microscopes.
Wow! We spent HOURS here. We started in the Kid's section since we had our 10 & 14 year olds with us, but it was so interesting for the adults in the group, too!! It really gave a good glimpse of life in the Netherlands during the time of the occupation. Our only regret was since we spent so much...
This was my favourite zoo I've ever visited! My partner isn't a fan of seeing animals in cages but here they have an amazing layout so a lot of them are free to roam and have so much space. It makes it a whole new experience and we loved every minute of it. So glad we travelled a little out...
In this beautiful building which used to be a woman’s retreat is housed, in conjunction with its sister site in St. Petersburg, the largest art collection in the world. Unfortunately we were not allowed entry due to the shutdown of the building for the COVID -19 Pandemic. Hopefully we will all get the opportunity in the future as it looks...
We really enjoy botanical gardens and this was really well done. It was January, so it was not the best time to go, but still the hothouses were worth it. There is some good signage in English and Dutch, though not everything is signed.
I imagine it is much more enjoyable on a warmer day.

Off the tourist path. Which is good. Small cozy place with mainly local guests.
Try their set menu or choose a la carte (as we did).
Everything is simply perfect - from the cooking to the presentation.
Nice and friendly personnel too.
This restaurant is one of these places you have in mind, when you want a warm, traditional dinner...
OK we are what some would call seasoned travelers , been abroad dozens of times , this hotel was something " different " the check in was different for old folks like us , but with a little help from the great staff we were in and comfortable , the room was clean and well appointed , the sliding staircase...
Wonderful place that felt like I was in my own home, but with the service of a high luxury hotel.
Everything was a fairly easy bike ride away.
Check in was awesome and I was given a lot of great places to take my work clients for dinner.
Vaule for your money. Everything about the hotel oozes class and with attentive and friendly staff.
The hotel bar was nice and had a pool table. I tend to use the 'Pint of Beer' metric when frequenting bars and at €8 a pint it was quite expenisve.
we had a great stay at citizen M. clean cosy room with a fantastic bed. The location of the hotel is perfect
the staff was very friendly and breakfast was great with fresh products and fresh orange juice.
As I’ve mentioned before, the hotel is very grand. It’s like a palace. The service is pretty good! People there treat us like royals. The location is convenient, it’s in the two roads and one riverside! Such an atmosphere by the river!
