"No Man’s Art Gallery & Bar, where Modern Art meets the Art of the Meal in Amsterdam"
reviewed 4 October 2018 by 316emiled
No Man’s Art Gallery & Bar, located on Bos en Lommerweg 88- 90 is a very interesting mix between a Modern Art Galley & a restaurant in an up & coming trendy district in Amsterdam.
Every month there are not only challenging new exhibitions from starting artists from all over the planet, but the Chief cook changes "the Art of...
It is a play ground in Amsterdam West. "Ruige Speelplek" ( Rough Play area) is indeed a bit wild. Kids with guts and adult can have some adventure by climbing the rack, crawling through the tunnel or passing the wavering wooden bridge. It's absolutely not for me. I was just sitting there and watching them play.
From the face expression of the dog and the way he sit towards the Erasmus park, you can see that he's been waiting for so long and still expected seeing the one he loves (probably his owner) coming to him. It's a well done made statue and was placed at the perfect location.
By coincidence I found this Indonesian restaurant online. I needed a catering for 90 colleagues of which 75% were from Indonesia. Talked to the owner, Frank, on the phone and what an impression he left behind! So much energy, so positive, so much fun; I knew directly that I made the perfect choice. This was confirmed after asking the Indonesian...
Lovely place, staff were really friendly and helpful. We had the power bagel breakfast which was really nice, coffee, fruit juice, a warm croissant and a hot bagel with jam, chocolate, cream cheese, ham and a few slices of cheese. charging points for laptops, and phones also free wifi too! Would visit again.
Very nice hotel in a quiet suberb of Amsterdam.
There is a tram station next to the hotel so you can go everywhere without car.
The rooms are warm and clean and the staff is very friendly.
If you want a peaceful hotel, that's the place.
My loyal travel agency, Gate 1, booked me at this hotel for three nights. Upon arrival the hotel is very modern and clean. The bathrooms are cute and the rooms are spacious for European standards. My two disappointments were the location and breakfast. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere (i.e. industrial area). Although you can hop on the...
A very cool modern looking hotel with a lot of design stuff located within 20-mimute taxi drive from Schiphol. Very pleasant desk staff. Spacious and cosy rooms with a nice view of the harbor. I would come again.
Hotel location is good, not too out of the way and surrounded by shops ect. Room was on 9th floor which the corridor for this floor smelt funky, however the room was clean with great facilities. Receptionist was a fool, got into room and called us to come back down because I gave the wrong name, which I didn't, she...
I booked this hotel as it was the closest place I could find to the centre within our budget. I wish I had checked the reviews before booking as I definitely wouldn't have picked here. After having read the reviews, I actually phoned the hotel as I was so concerned and wanted some reassurance. The receptionist was very nice but...
