We visited on the afternoon of our arrival on the red-eye so we were not in full “museum mode”. As such, I cannot provide a full -fledge review other than to say it is well worth a visit, particularly because of the unique collection of Goyas. Definitely deserves more than the 90 minutes of our viewing. Or course, the Prado,...
Both great and awful, but I averaged it to a Very Good.
This area reminds me of Piccadilly Circus or Times Square. Active, exciting, lots going on, just without all the lights. Maybe more like Hollywood Blvd, a little seedier than Piccadilly.
Either way, lots of fun, and lots of crazy also.
It's all but required to see the area....

"Best Fresh Juice in Madrid"
reviewed 4 weeks ago by carenb_MA
Food was great, but the fresh juice was out of this world, and served in a huge glass. We tried 3 different types and the Mango/Strawberry was the best.

The burger is amongst the best I’ve had, and so I keep on coming back. Our server Karlos was very attentive and took good care of us.
I would definitely recommend visiting and trying their awesome burgers.
We sadly had to cancel our trip due to COVID-19. Javier was so understanding and full refund provided with no issues. Thank you again. This is not true for other accommodation booked in other Spanish cities.
"Great hotel within walking distance of Madrid's best"
reviewed 5 weeks ago by Terps92
A great Hyatt property right in the heart of Madrid. You are walking distance to all the great sites of Madrid including their theatre district, Gran Via, metros, Mercado de San Miguel, Prado, etc... and lots of great shopping and restaurants. The hotel is attached right next to a Real Madrid official store which is also a great perk if...
Amazing view and staff! The room is small and the thing that bothered me the most was no trash can in the bathroom mirror.
Other than that, the staff is lovely and the food amazing, the breakfast always delicious, the door staff super helpful, the bed super comfy... and the best view of Plaza Mayor!
Easy walking distance to the old town, this boutique hotel does not disappoint. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and modern, and the staff is extremely helpful.
Good value for the price. And, there are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood if you don't want to do the five minute walk to the Plaza Mayor (old town),...
