This place is defenitely worth making a trip! It smells with history. The architecture, the icons... But, leave it to Europeans to remind you who's in charge! We got kicked out, because the church was going to be closed for a nite! Welcome to Madrid! )))
Plaza Lavapies is an interesting area in the middle of the Lavapies district. The area is quite multicultural and this means that you get an amazing variety of food as well as culture. Walking through you get the feeling there are many poorer families in the district in general, but the Plaza and other spots in the district are worth...

We stumbled across this booming little bistro and decided to go in. It was a great find , had friendly staff, and was willing to fit our needs. For example, the dish I ordered was not available and the waiter recommended another option which was delicious. We went back again and were greeted with smiles, we also got desert on...
Warm reception from the owners, Jorge and Emanuel.
Cozy interior with relaxed and fun athmosphere.
Great simple food, with fresh and high quality ingredients, prepared with care and love.
Definitevely it's worth a visit!

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was HUGE. The shower had double showerheads, and there were tons of counter space. The hotel decor is stylish and modern. Loved the candy jar in the reception area! Hotel staff were friendly, but their striped uniforms were a little tacky....
Fabulous value hotel. We stayed for two nights via Expedia for under €170
Banging below during the afternoon siesta time was annoying and someone walking about in heels all night above us was trying
Lovely room but the minimalist style may not suit everyone particularly as storage space is limited. Comfortable bed. Good AC. Excellent shower. Nice balcony window onto...
It's hard to find a centrally located hotel at a decent price in any big city and the same applies for Madrid. We were reserved ahead of time a standard base price room and we found it very adequate, and spacious, do you mind that rooms in major cities are always smaller than expected. I will reiterate, lovely hotel any...
It is so convenient to the Atocha Station and the museum next door is wonderful. In fact, it was convenient to anything in the old city. The desk man gave us wonderful choices for "local" food and we enjoyed the experience immensely.
"This is such a gem - I almost want to keep it a secret!"

The host and staff are superb - warm, welcoming, super helpful and friendly. The place is central, quiet and stupendously clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the host and staff - whether the question was about where to eat, taxi prices, directions, how to open & close the blinds - more than once! We really enjoyed our stay and...
