This park is small and immaculately sculpted with statuary and stone balustrades outlining the perimeter. The trees are big and beautiful and there is a cafe built into one of the side walls. Neukoln has plenty of green space between Tempelhof and some of the surrounding parks, but this one stands out as the most refined.
"Simple but effective memorial to a man who nearly changed history"

Georg Elser was a Communist Party member, who worked painstakingly to make a bomb that could kill Hitler. In the event, Hitler (who was habitually late) arrived early to deliver a speech, so Elser's bomb in the podium from where he spoke, blew up harmlessly about 30 minutes after Hitler had already left. Elser was hunted down and caught by...

"The most interesting UNESCO site of Berlin modernism housing estate."
reviewed 25 February 2019 by VadimM67
Hufeisen means "horseshoe" in German. Architects Bruno Taut and Martin Wagner foresaw almost 100 years ago the advent of the drone era. Only the desire to visit UNESCO world heritage sites can bring a tourist here to neukeln. Hufeisen - the most interesting of the 6 objects of the Berlin modernism housing estate (Gartenstadt Falkenberg, Wohnstadt Carl Legien, the Schillerpark,...

"Amazing must-have German dumplings"
reviewed 1 week ago by Poonaaam
This is definitely one of the best places to go if you want authentic German dumplings. It was full of locals and actually quite far from the city centre - but well worth the Uber!
The restaurant is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and we walked into the wrong restaurant on the corner, but it is just down...

"Exceptionally pleasant evening!"

A short order menu of the best sort. They only prepare a small number of portions but to a very high culinary standard. The waiter and partner in the restaurant was very forthcoming and catered to our needs - including an excellent wine reccomendation.
Close to the U-Bahn and shops. Friendly and helpful staff with good amenities. Clean and comfortable rooms. Taxis available outside and close to supermarkets and take away shops/restaurants. Close to laundry facilities.
I’ve been in this hotel for CTI conference that is inside the forum of the hotel (don’t need to exit to access). The hotel is very big (hundreds of rooms), rooms are ok and the breakfast is good as well. Recommend.
I stayed with a friend for 3 nights on our first visit to Berlin and loved it. The staff were all lovely and the room was very clean! We arrived on an early flight. At first the staff offered to store our bags until later but then managed to check us into a room that had been vacated early so...
Tge location for this hotel is less than ideal if you need to eat in the evening. The hotel.oniy offers breakfast and there is a very limited choice of restaurants nearby with the closest not taking care payments.
Not really the fault of this Ibis but its not cheap and I've stayed in a large number of ibis hotels.
Lovely room, had everything we needed for a long weekend sightseeing in Berlin. Bus dropped us practically opposite the hotel. Although hotel only does breakfast there’s a decent Mexican restaurant next door which does a good choice of food! 😊
