Fantastic fun in Berlin. We found summer in the city a very entertaining area with live music performances, different types of food to try and all round fun. There were rides for children, stalls selling goods. All in all a great place to spend time and relax and enjoy the good weather.
You have to call in advance to schedule a tour, otherwise you can swing buy during regular business hours to sample and buy their products. I prefer the sweet liqueurs (Likör) to the spirits but all are available for sample and the bottles are very reasonably priced. I got a Nusslikör(nuts) and a Waldmeisterlikör which is based on what we...
Completely in German. Self paced tour reading the history of sugar beet and sugar cane in Gemany. Some model displays and historical artefacts. Of the beaten track. . Free admission (donation jar). Short walk from U6 and U2.
We weren't sure what to expect at this museum but as one of us was going to be studying Robert Koch at school soon we thought we'd give it a go. It was a really interesting museum and has quite a lot to offer in a fairly small space. It offers clear and concise material in both German and English...
Had a wonderful experience at vagabond. The guys were friendly, the beers delicious and all around a good time. Great place to spend my last night in Berlin and I can only wish I’d discovered it earlier!
Fun, nostalgic atmosphere with movie/music posters decor. Great waitstaff and very reasonable prices. Delicious chicken wings and burgers. Their signature drinks are a must try. Your children will love it, too! Very easy to find, right on rt. 3A.
We were there with 8 people and without having a reservation we had some trouble to find a table as the place was completely packed on a Tuesday evening. We know why. Because the pizza was great. The bread was not too thin and not too thick and the interesting different kinds of pizza made it hard to choose. Fresh...
Considering the price it is an okay hotel
It is a discount hotel, but you get what you pay for and the pictures on the web are true
Metro very close and you are in the center within 10 min
Taxi from Tegel airport aprox. 18 EUR
"Average hotel, WiFi did not work, very rude staff"
reviewed 22 October 2019 by Rachel B
The location is fine if you want to stay in the Wedding area of Berlin.
The hotel is very average - it's inexpensive so you get what you pay for.
The WiFi was broken and the front desk staff were really rude and I would not recommend this property to anyone. There is no secure spot to leave luggage if...
We stayed there during very busy days for Berlin. Hotel staff are very friendly and they make good pizza as well. 12 minutes walk from U-barn train station and many restaurants nearby. They let us have 4 bed-room for just 2 of us.
Easy access to transport facilities. The area is quiet and nice. There are lots of restaurants and shop. The room was basic. It was clean, big and the staff was helpful. The building is old but very well maintained.
Hotel is on 5th floor in a Dingy, dirty building. No reception area. Rooms serviced by 5 floors of stairs or a tiny lift which only fits 2 people with luggage Was badly bitten by BED BUGS staff unhelpful and unfriendly. No facilities for hot water for baby's bottles and staff refused to give us any from their kitchen. Had...
