Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.

An amazing adventure awaits you when you enter Pere-lachaise! Oscar Wilds grave is an crazy as you’d expect it to be. Jim Morrison’s grave is somewhat normal. Don’t get caught in this place after the bell goes off as you may end up staying after they lock the doors!
"Small street with bars and restaurants and lots of people in evenings"

Went there just incidentally. I was surprised by amounts of people present. The bars and restaurants were quite occupied and many of the visitors were just staying and chatting in the street. I think that this is a good place if you are looking for night life and some adventure.
Chef Jean-Yves hosted my partner and I during our quick trip to Paris. Jean Yves and Fred (sous chef) were welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. We booked the dinner through EatWith and it was such a wonderful experience.
Most of the dishes did not blow our minds, but were well made and aesthetically beautiful. The duck, in particular, was the...

Small, comfortable restaurant that my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed. The servers were very friendly and helpful and spoke to us in English. We started with Foie Gras which was superb. My daughter had the Chateaubriand and I had Sweetbreads, both of which were wonderful. Desert was Chocolate Lava Cake and Salted Caramel Cheesecake, both of which were very good....
We stayed here in February, the room was a good size and good bathroom and shower facilities.
The staff were very helpful with maps and advice etc.
We walked everywhere from here, however it was dry and we like walking! There is a metro stop nearby.
We went to a couple of really good restaurants just a few mins walk...
We chose this hotel because of the location and price. We're not disappointed at all. Breakfast was OK, kind of basic, but there's a space issue so I guess cannot be much better than what it was. Was nice having it anyway.
At our arrival there was a problem with out suite for 4, so they gave us a suite...
A wonderful little oasis off the main drags so you can sleep well, eat well (at breakfast) and be at peace at the beginning or end of your busy days in Paris. The rooms are super clean and well appointed (great shower/bath products) and the breakfast super healthy. But best of all is the staff. Every restaurant recommendation was perfect...
We just arrived here and it’s my first time in Paris. We were warmly welcomed by the lady by the reception. She spoke excellent English which is good, as I don’t know any French. We hadn’t chose the breakfast option, but it’s not a problem, we can add it to the deal if we want. Room has some interesting details,...
We stayed at this very well located boutique hotel. It is steps away from the monument Le Bastille in Paris. There is a metro station steps away. Lots of restaurants. Near Le Marais. The hotel itself is unique. Walls are purple and blue. Colored striped carpet ( beetle juice popped into my mind while there ). The rooms are themed....
