The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
we are staying very close and decided to have a look. the entry price is,reasonable.
The building itself and fixtures and fittings very interesting. I can't really describe what we saw but it's probably the most bizarre museum I've visited. We both enjoyed it although not all of the modern art pieces.
If you feel sorry for those poor stuffed...
Wonderful museum which chronologically shows with excellent artifacts and commentary the history of the Jewish people in France. Extremely easy to navigate and view. Would not miss it. Great free audiotour and part of the museum pass system.
We did the 7 course menu with wine pairings. Everything was outstanding. Especially enjoyed the lobster and razor clam dishes. It was more like a 10 course meal with all the little extras. Wine pairings were excellent. Meal was well paced and never rushed. Service was excellent. Must have a reservation. I would also say it was excellent value for...

Delicious food with the right spice. it is a real pleasure for the mouth and for the eyes.
The owner and the crew are very great.
The location is cosy and the number of tables help to have this great atmosphere.

The ingenuity of simplicity. Or the other way around. Any which way you look at the dinner we had, this was nothing short of amazing.
An a-la-carte menu consisting of 6 courses left me and my wife aching for more.
A true Michelin dinner in a cozy room sitting no more than 15 diners.
The chef/owner/waiter takes care of everything....
I dropped in on a Sunday at lunch time. The place was packed. I just ordered a dish of pasta. The wait was reasonable in spite of the crowd. The pasta came with a bowl of grated parmesan. The cooking was perfect., al dente. The dish was savory. I would definitely come back.
This place is just stunning! This is my second time at this hotel and it never fails to surprise me positively.
Room space vs prices is without comparison in the entire city. So much space, so well designed. Beautifully decorated, everything super functioning..just stylish with large large windows that shows a great view over the channel.
Bed is super comfortable....
We were looking for a small boutique hotel to stay in a Paris neighborhood and we could not have made a better choice than the Hotel de JoBo in the Marais. The hotel itself is on a quiet side street but only a short walk from the Rue de Rivoli and the Saint Paul Metro station. You enter the hotel...
This property is located in the heart of one of the best districts in Paris. Surrounded by cool stores, bars and restaurants, this hotel reflects the culture and energy of the neighbourhood. The property is clean, modern and retains its charm with beautiful architectural features. The team are excellent and professional. Breakfast is a MUST. This is my home from home...
My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a long weekend getaway to Paris. It was everything we could have asked for. Very friends and knowledgeble concierge. The rooms were cozy, functional and well designed (not that we spent to much time inside - we were in Paris overall!) the breakfast was a perfect offering of locally baked...

We came last year to Paris and stayed at Dupond-Smith : it was the ultimate way to discover the city of light! When back in Cape Town I was only waiting for my next stay in France and didn't doubt for a second when it was time to book accommodation as I directly thought of Dupond-Smith. A haven right in...
