The giant stained glass windows are beautiful, it is definitely something you should see at least once.
Entry is a little on the expensive side but it's worth seeing, if you want to see Concierge then the joint ticket is a bit better value.
Visited before the Fire and COVID-19:
While it’s interior is closed off to visitors following the devastating fire in April 2019, the masterpiece of French Gothic remains the city’s geographic and spiritual heart.
This monument is a must to visit. The monument is was erected as a memory to all nazi's victims 200,000 peoples.
The architecture and the design resemble a jail in contrast to the Seine river which resembles the freedom, which flows around.
Do not miss the place.
I had a week to myself in Paris and ended up eating here 4 times I loved it so much. It is small and hidden away in the midst of lots of ripoff tourist places, but when you enter it feels like you’re in a different time and place. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is beautifully balanced...
Located on one of the nicest squares on Paris ...Menu choices good.. traditional French cuisine .. very cured, excellent and fresh ingredients .. good wine card .. excellent and kind service...very good value for money. I’ll be back!
We could find a place for a quiet meal in the 6th. Ended up going back here, which we usually don’t do. We split the cheese appetizer, which was okay, and then my wife had the duck, I had the beef. Duck was good, beef kind of dry and tough.
Went into this restaurant simply because my wife was hungry and it was there. Food was reasonable and to my surprise all the customers at nearby tables were French!
Staff were friendly but some surprise that an Englishman ordered a very rare (bleu) steak.
Last time I stayed there was fall 2012. This hotel closed in 2015. It is now private residences. Last time I stayed there it was terrible. Filthy, lumpy dirty bed. It was cheap but for a few francs more a better hotel could have been had on the left bank..
