This was more impressive than I thought it would be.
55m tall its a lot taller when you are standing under. It was just very unexpected how much I actually enjoyed going right up to it.
The great thing is that there is a tunnel under the road so that you can go under the arc. Definitely an impressive structure.

The best situated table in Paris @bustoque_paris with an outstanding view of this lovely city.
We had an aperitif including French caviar from the Nordic House with blinis, heart of smoked salmon breaded with dill, goat cheese mousse with celery, breadcrumbs of gingerbread.
I had dinner here with five others in late February. The six of us had the truffle tasting menu and I can’t say anything better than that it was the best meal and best service and dinning experience that I have ever had. It was perfect from start to finish. Each dish was better than the one before and the...
Lunch at Le Cinq. Palace ambiance, yet approachable food and fantastic staff.
From the maitre d'hotel to the sommelier, waiter, assistant waiter and everyone else, everyone was engaging and kind, enhancing our experience and make our lunch absolutely memorable.
Food didn't disappoint. The four course lunch was exciting and well paced, with additional dishes in-between.
Wine list was surprisingly approachable....

This month I had the pleasure of a 2 night stay at the Hotel du Rond-Point to celebrate my 30th birthday. My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel and immediately were met by the staff who were all so welcoming, kind & helpful. They were gracious enough to upgrade our room as a birthday surprise, and when we walked...
We had an EXCELLENT stay at the Hotel Splendide. The hotel feels boutique in that there are only 12 rooms - but the suite we stayed in was HUGE (and not just by Euro standards - by ALL hotel standards). Huge shower, separate bathtub, 2 sinks, tons of closet and drawer space. Everything was immaculate, the staff was wonderful and...
Very chic hotel. Went in to the "library" only for a drink - very pricey but great setting and ambiance. We noticed the bar area, also very chic and interesting.
We would never pay to stay here but getting a drink as recommended to us was worth the trek and experience (but note, a martini was $35USD.)
