It takes a bit effort to get there if you are using the metro. Be prepared to walk a bit but its worth it. The basilica is just stunning and mesmerising. Take some time to sit and reflect. The architecture especially the dome is beautiful. Worth it.
Although this church is far older than Sacre Couer you can understand why it is overshadowed by it's far larger brethren. However, you can really sense the history here and it feels more 'personal'.
And the modern stained-glass windows are absolutely amazing!!
Walking up the hill from the 1st arr, (during the train strike), we were so happy to reach this square for a rest, nothing fancy, however, there is a carrousel for the kiddies, and an entrance to the metro, (original art nouveau style). A good place to have a picnic lunch, is Square Jehan Rictus home to the “I Love...

A friend who lives in Paris had been several times and we joined her for a lovely Saturday evening.
Situated slightly out of the way and with plain décor we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our large table near to the kitchen which is open plan.
There is no menu, you choose the number of courses...
"Make reservation. Amazing food but service kind of just ok."

This place was really delicious. I would say pretty pricey but really worthy. I went first on Tuesday and had no reservation so couldn’t have dinner there, so reserved for other day. Food was amazing! Super delicious and delicate flavor. However, feel like the service didn’t reach the standards of the food. It wasn’t bad... but for that food (and...
My wife and I were lucky to find brunch in beautiful montmarte area where we found this very nice little place which offers very tasty buckwheat crepes. On par with best crepes of Brittany. Service was perfect and price very reasonable for crepes done very meticulously. We will be back!
Me and my fiance stayed here midweek in february when at no point did we see sunlight in paris only rain and rain...and more rain...yet this hotel was absolutely 1st class...the gent who welcomed us on arrival was so helpful...breakfasts great...room we had was spacious... and perfect place to stay in terms of walking and for travelling via metro to...
I spent one night at the hotel in early February. I settled in the "Artist" room with a nice and simple design. Due to lack of time, I did not have time to visit the spa, but had a dinner in the restaurant with excellent cuisine. In term of dishes, I especially appreciated a medium-rare entrecote and oeuf parfait. Separately,...
This was a great value for money stay near Jules Jofrin metro station; Rooms were clean, staff was helpful, location was good and few minutes stroll from the Sacre Coeur basilica.
The mattress wasn't the most comfortable, and the safe didn't seem solid enough.
We just visited this hotel after a week cruise. Wasn't really too sure about the hotel but it was a nice surprise. Although it was a visit with mixed emotions.
Nice sized kitchenette
nice sized bathroom
windows....that you can open
laundry service available...have to ask
small grocery store very close.
A surprise tourist town "at the...
it was a good value, the hotel was located near shops, restaurants, and the metro. the hotel had wifi my only complaint is that I asked for extra pillows, they were provided for one night only, the next day they were gone, when I asked where they went I was told they were completely booked and had no extra pillows.
