This is a huge park on the East side of the city and there are a lot of activities here. My favorite is rowing on the lake, especially on a warm day. But there is also a great zoo, some great remnants of an international expo, lots of bike and hiking trails, and a terrific fair in the spring, perfect...
"Immigration - an historical perspective with art and architecture"
reviewed 9 May 2019 by robinettaw
This museum must be visited to expand your understanding of France, European history and the French colonial activity. The detailed timeline displays the immigration patterns as they were triggered by political and economic events. In addition there are personal histories, with artifacts donated by individuals or their families, that personalize the waves of immigration. Other displays show the contributions immigrants...
The aquarium is located in the basement of the Doree Palace, which in itself is worth a visit.
The aquarium has a somewhat oldschool unidirectional way of disseminating knowledge. The stories are mainly told using snippets of textbook excerts next to the tanks. The are very few interactive stands.
The texts are both in French and English.
The aquarium itself...
We visited this zoo on our first day in Paris and although it felt quite pricey I would say it wasn’t any different to the price of zoos in the UK, however you could see where the cost was being spent, the Park was so clean and staff were very friendly and informative.
I would say it is definitely worth...
Group of six ... got a good table in a pleasant room. Good variety in menu. Most dishes were good to very good, and service was good, but I'll have to withhold a star for a salad with a fair bit of unacceptably brown lettuce.
Piccoli Pasti is such a lovely place to try out the traditional German food and more. The house staff are very friendly and wonderful hosts!
Check this out, they treated us with a lovely piece of pastry!
Higly recommend this place to everyone!
Won't regret it. ⭐✨
We had a lovely meal with an old friend here. It was during a citywide music festival so we heard great live music with our meal. The food was tasty and we ended up coming back for another meal before leaving the city.
Loved this little spot, it was truly Parisian but still very accommodating for overseas visitors. The service had a lot of energy and went out of their way to help us with the menu and our orders.
Great for people watching and catching Parisian chill vibe.
The food was delicious and good value.
4th time in Paris and this has been one of my favourite restaurants! The restaurant is very authentic and small, the menu is on large black boards written in French. The woman who seemed to run the show translated best she could and it was actually very fun to pick something off a menu that you aren’t 100% what you’re...
The staff were absolutely fantatic, friendly ,very kind and helpful.
Lovely location right next to the park, easy access direct from the metro station.
Loved the parisian room decor and the reusable water bottles in the room.
Lots of positive sustainable and eco friendly touches.
We would stay there again when in Paris.
Recently spent 9 nights at this hotel. This was a last-minute change from a planned Italian trip, so hadn't done much research before booking. I was in room 11, a standard double/twin room. The hotel has clearly been recently renovated, and to my untrained eye tastefully so.
Room: by Parisian standards, larger than average. I could actually take 3 steps...
Close to the peripherique, easy to get to by metro. Wonderful lobby, very friendly staff and nice rooms! And good prices. What more do you need for a stay in Paris? I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Paris!
This boutique hotel is clean has lots of character , friendly and helpful staff. it is located close to Nation railway station with supermarkets, cafes, restuarants and a farmers market 2 days a week. the continental breakfast was one of the better ones I have experienced 9 euros a head. My only complaint was the flooring creaked ( real first world...
I needed a reasonably priced hotel for just one night in Paris, and this one fitted perfectly! Although the room was compact, it was beautifully clean, had a nice view across the street, and was conveniently located. If you are catching a bus from the Bercy bus station, then this hotel is well located. You can walk to the bus...
